25.01.2022 Planet friendly all the way. Did you know that these organic cotton face masks will biodegrade and return to being compost within 6 months when placed in a compost bin, whereas single use disposable masks (as they’re made from paper and plastic) join the ranks of other single use plastic items like straws, plastic bags, plastic cutlery and those annoying little plastic fish filled with inferior quality soy sauce and are thrown into landfill where it takes up to 450 years to degrade. Which would you prefer to be? The problem or the solution?

20.01.2022 Scrunch it up and toss it into the garden or compost heap. Yip, for this month of ‘Plastic Free July’ (and beyond) we’ve said goodbye to plasticised labels and toxic glues found in most mailbag labels and introduced these compostable mail bag labels. Although these are fifty times more expensive than regular labels we’re committed to sourcing planet friendly solutions no matter how great or small....Which means guilt free online shopping for you too!

19.01.2022 Great news! Your favourite face masks are available NOW! Please only buy what you need as we have limited daily stock and remember we’re all in this together!

19.01.2022 We have a challenge for you. Next time you do some online shopping and receive your parcel, count how many pieces of plastic you discard before getting to the item you purchased. On average you’ll find plastic in: -The label with your address printed on it - The mail bag which you received the item in - The wrapping of the item inside... - the swingtags or labels of the item - And then there’s the item itself... do you know what polyester is? Yip you guessed it, it’s plastic. We’re so proud to say that there is ZERO, absolutely ZERO plastic in our packaging even down to the label you find on our mailbags, it too can be composted. As it’s plastic free July we challenge you to count all the plastic which just one delivered parcel contains and ask yourself if you want to be responsible for adding more plastic to this beautiful planet. You don’t need to stop shopping, but you may consider supporting businesses who do care. There is always a better solution. See more

15.01.2022 So very sorry - We have sold out of Face Masks for this week. Our ‘Sold Out’ problem is not in the manufacturing but rather the supply of shock cord elastic which we use for our unique face masks. We can source thin, poor quality elastic but as that’s not what we stand for, we have decided to wait for the better quality elastic to arrive and we hope to have new masks in stock from Wednesday 15th July. Watch this space. So sorry and stay safe. Thanks to the team at @pipitrestaurant for modelling their team face masks for the photo.

07.01.2022 10 minutes to go. Stand by and be ready, as we have limited daily stock available. Be kind and only buy what you really need.

07.01.2022 Our superbly comfortable face masks have just had a design tweak. As we believe in Zero waste and a circular economy all our face masks now come with two replacement nose strips which prolong the life of your face mask. Watch the video to see how to simply replace nose strips should you need to.

04.01.2022 Face masks are available NOW! If you need them please don’t delay as they will sell out in minutes. Thanks and have a great day!

04.01.2022 Think differently. Think out of the conventional box. If you reside in Australia, you may be interested in watching the episode on Charles Massy #charlesmassy which was aired on @abctv last night. Charles is a pioneer with his farming methodology and only practices regenerative farming. Two interesting results from him changing his farming methods from conventional to regenerative is that his farm can recover quicker from drought and secondly his mental health. It is proven that farmers who practice regenerative farming methods do not suffer the severe mental health issues associated with farming, even severely challenges time. Love your work Charles. These are our #influencers and pioneers. #pesticidefree

03.01.2022 We had no idea that this week was #zerowasteweek. Did you? And what is zero waste all about? Zero waste week adopts the adage "there's no such place as away" meaning when we throw something "away", it goes somewhere else often causing harm or toxicity to the eco system. So what do we do to reduce the waste we throw away every minute of the day? Think circular economy, think recycle, think no plastic packaging, think repair, think compost, think better! You can do it.

03.01.2022 Is it possible for face masks to be Zero waste items? Of course it is when you put a bit of thought into it. Every bit of our face masks can be repurposed, reused, recycled or composted. Here's a challenge for you - Can you say the same for the face mask you're wearing?

02.01.2022 Stand by... for the good news reveal today 3pm.

01.01.2022 Ever thought about how many stickers or labels are being used globally each day? Ever considered that each sticker or label is made from plastic and that eventually it’s being tossed into the environment? You know at Cream we do things differently - and it’s always worried us that our description labels on our swingtags weren’t biodegradable or better still compostable. Well, with our commitment to #plasticfreejuly we now use compostable labels on our swingtags. And this is w...here you come in, we nominate you all to challenge your suppliers, challenge the brands who you buy your clothing from and ask them: Are your labels and stickers you use on your products compostable? And if not, why not? There is a planet friendly solution to everything, sometimes you just need to want to find it. Tag your suppliers and the clothing companies you buy from here and ask: Are your labels and stickers you use on your products compostable? See more

01.01.2022 Each item of clothing manufactured globally is delivered from the manufacturer to the distributor’s warehouse in plastic. In one year that’s 100 BILLION pieces of clothing in 100 BILLION plastic bags which are all discarded to landfill polluting our planet. We like to do things differently. We don’t accept garments from our manufacturer individually wrapped in plastic bags. We receive our garments naked. We’ve just unpacked a new delivery of 1000+ garments and this is the ...total amount of plastic wrapping from that delivery. It’s 99% less plastic usually received for this amount of clothing. As this is Plastic free July, please ask the companies who you are buying clothing from if they offer an alternative to plastic packaging and if not, why not? It’s time to start voting for a healthier planet with your wallet. Thanks for your support, we’re doing exactly that. See more
