20.01.2022 Stella Miria-Robinson is the last member or our extraordinary panel. Stella Miria-Robinson obtained a Bachelors of Arts Degree at the University of Papua New Guinea in the late 1970s at a time when few women were given the opportunity to pursue university education in PNG. She later graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration at Deakin University in Victoria. Stella has a background in administration, management and human resource management. She has worked in th...e public and private sectors in PNG and Australia and has been working in the community services sector for the past 10 years. She has a passion for education, cultural diversity, climate change, volunteerism, empowerment of women & youth, strengthening of Families and Faith. She continues this passion through her work as a Multicultural Advisor State-wide with Uniting Care Community and also as a volunteer to the Pacific Islander communities in South East Queensland.

18.01.2022 Another of our panellist is Farzanah Ally! Farzana is a senior lawyer as well as CEO of the rapidly internationally expanding Australian brand babyhood; manufacturing baby and nursery products for the retail sector and the largest supplier of nursery products for the childcare sector in Australia. Farzanah has combined her legal and business expertise to support community services for social justice advocacy in Australia. This has been largely through her role as Trustee of The Islamic Charitable Trust (Kuraby Mosque) and children’s learning centre, Amanah Institute.

06.01.2022 Ass. Prof. Jacinta O’Hagan will part of our extraordinary panel too! Jacinta is Director of the Graduate Centre in Governance and International Affairs in the School of Political Science and International Studies. A former diplomat with the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs, Jacinta O’Hagan has held prior appointments at the Australian National University and held visiting fellowships and affiliations at the University of Southern California, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and the European University Institute. Her principal areas of teaching are international history, humanitarianism and culture in world politics.



02.01.2022 Our MC for the evening, is a multi-award winning theatre maker, therapist, researcher, theatre director and facilitator Margi Brown Ash. Since moving to Brisbane in 1989 with her partner Bill to raise their four children, Margi has worked with most of Brisbane’s theatre companies and is also a member of the National Artistic Team and Queensland Theatre. Margi is a coach with 4change, her own creative arts studio where she conducts supervision and workshops with artists and community workers adjusting to life/work/creative transitions.
