With an extensive background in retail marketing, he's an old hat at project planning, organising of budgets and strategy and design implementation for multiple campaigns. Chris also has a strong focus on user experience, ensuring all nuts and bolts are in place on every touchpoint, and speaks fluent tech talk. Websites, GIFs, animated videos etc? That's his jam. 25.01.2022 Create & Co through Mia's eyes. My daughter, Mia, loves drawing and colouring. I bought home some Copic markers, like the ones I used when studying design, with the idea of using them for conceptualising and sketching. As soon as Mia saw the box with all its fantastic colours, I knew I wouldn't see them again. So, in exchange, I asked her to draw what she thought her Dad did for work. This was her drawing. She said I spent all day drawing on the computer a...nd talking to Ubi. That's him on a video call now. And clearly the number of adjustable leavers on my new office chair has made a big impression on her. 24.01.2022 For a bar or restaurant, the building and location play an essential role in the expression of the brand. Unable to visit the actual site due to CO-VID restrictions, all we had was the Google Street View of the building as it looks today, and online archives to research its past. I don’t remember exactly where we found it, a grainy faded photo of a shopfront in Bacchus Marsh in 1900. The sign said Gulline Bros Grocery and Ironmongers, Established 1891. The match wasn’t app...arent at first because of the angle of the photo. But yes, it was the same roofline, the identical spacing of the pillars of the awning. It was the same building 120 years earlier with horse and buggies out front, and men and boys standing around with bikes. We first video chatted with Chris and Carly in early October, soon after they had struck on the idea of opening a craft beer taproom in Bacchus Marsh. They had a vision of the sort of place they wanted to create. The typeface Proxima Nova, created by Mark Simonson Studio, is modern, solid and assertive - a great fit for a youth advocacy service. The full-stop at the end makes it finite. This is not a choice or a suggestion. The separation of the words StandUp gives each of them weight. The 'Up' is elevated like raising a little fist is defiance.

When Create & Co was given the opportunity to create a new brand identity for the centre, we started by distilling everything they did into three key words: Care Therapy Support - each of these things plays a different, but equally important role in improving the lives of disabled people. We gave each word a slightly different tone of the colour jade and created a logo out of all the different pieces. At Jade, everything comes together to improve the lives of their clients.

It plays on the structure of a maze and the series of chambers of an escape room game. Escape rooms are dynamic, taking different twists and turns as the clues unravel. The Autron logo can be twisted and turned like a Rubiks cube, to configure the letter forms of the word AUTRON.

06.01.2022 There was a recent post on Twitter asking: If you could kill one word in marketing, what would it be? There were some fantastic nominations: learnings, disruption, paradigm, viral, omnichannel, conversion, all words that are chronically overused (and often misused) marketing jargon. Jargon, by its very definition, are words and expressions used by a profession, or group, that are difficult for others to understand. In other words, using ...jargon without explanation is a deliberate choice not to be clearly understood outside of your profession. However, some of these words have been coined, or are old words given new meaning, to name or describe innovations, so can still be very useful in making a point. The best way to use jargon is to explain it. Its the difference between saying: You need an omnichannel strategy. And, Your relationship with your customers can be one seamless experience, whether they are shopping online, in a physical shop or on your social media account. All the content is integrated and coordinated, so customers can move from one platform to the other and pick up where they left off. Its what referred to as cross-channel or omnichannel marketing and it would be an ideal strategy for your brand. Firstly, it shows you know what you are talking about.
