25.01.2022 A crocheted or macramé bag would look amazing with a set of cane or wooden handles. Perhaps you have a bag in the cupboard that simply needs to be refreshed, or you would like to make a coin purse. I have a selection of handles, hardware and patterns in store.

23.01.2022 Happy Valentines Day. A beautiful range of fabric and English Paper Piecing Blocks to match have just arrived.
22.01.2022 Tracey wouldnt let me show you her face (no she isnt a dentist) but her crocheted blanket is beautiful. Tracey has been Pesident of Esperance Goldfields Surf Lifesaving Club for the past 2 years. The 2018 season was coming to an end and she was stepping down from her position. So Tracey decided that she would teach herself to crochet, and this is one of her projects that she has whipped up in the past few months. What an amazing women she is, we are thrilled to have her company. Tracey has now discovered what we as a group have found that the wonderful thing about craft is you have to jump of the treadmill, stop, and rest whilst doing it plus drink coffee, talk and laugh
22.01.2022 Missing a button? You may find one here.

21.01.2022 The Queen Elizabeth Liner arrived on Monday morning carrying over 2500 passengers. Maree Robertson sewed me a gorgeous Australiana shirt with Kangaroos and boab trees, especially for the occasion. It sailed out of port, bound for Melbourne that evening, it was a sight to see.
20.01.2022 Its a Create and See tradition at the shop that every Christmas we make a wreath of some description. This years wreath is embroidered by Alicia, and is absolutely beautiful. It is a free pattern, but we have all the materials available in store to complete it before Christmas. Chances are you may be up for a couple of sleepless nights.
20.01.2022 A beautiful new nautical fabric range and panel has just arrived. There have been lots of exciting ideas flying around in how best to enjoy the panel as it is quite large. It would make gorgeous pillows, a tablecloth and of course a quilt. Half of the panel in the photograph has been rotated for this post, so if used as a tablecloth the images would be facing the person seated. It measures 1.65cm long and is 112cm wide.
20.01.2022 Just to let you know, if you plan to visit tomorrow that I will be closed from 3.25 pm till 4.40 pm on Wednesday 30th January. I am taking our beautiful old girl Nikora for a visit to the vet.

18.01.2022 Havent had time to think about your trimmings for the table or a wreath for your front door. Perhaps that last minute present, we are happy to help you.
18.01.2022 In all the chaos in the lead up to Christmas, why not take some time out and start a new craft . Laughable suggestion, I hear you say. Well why not add a beautiful pillow kit to your Christmas wish list
18.01.2022 I cant begin to thank you for your overwhelming support over the past few weeks. It has certainly made it a lot safer and easier for us all, by placing your order online and doing a quick pick up. Unfortunately I have been notified tonight of a few issues with the web site. Initially I thought it was due to Telstra working in the area as all our phones and Eftpos machines were going hay wire but tonight there definitely seems to be a problem. If you are having problems with your shopping cart, please email, phone or Facebook me, until I can contact the IT specialists on Tuesday. My apologies for the hassle it is unfortunate timing. Good night everyone stay safe and sleep tight.
18.01.2022 Oh Dear Deer, where has November gone. When I made a promise to post daily I thought November would be a long month, but I must say I have quite enjoyed posting daily.
17.01.2022 A beautiful new range of cotton fabric Bloom Beaut has arrived, but walking out the door so hurry in to enjoy a glimpse.
15.01.2022 Diamond Dotz stock including some new designs have arrived. Just in time for school holidays.
15.01.2022 I am chipping away at updating the web site. I have uploaded a few embroideries and cross stitch kits. If you copy and paste this link, it will lead you there, but there is lots more to come. http://www.createandsee.com.au/Product%20Catalogue.aspx Ring me at the shop on 907 16010 and I am more than happy to send photos of the stock available. I will then pack your goods and have them ready to go.You can either pay over the phone or pop in and tap and go. If you are in isolat...ion, I can arrange delivery. Takeaways have been very successful. My takeaway option - The street is empty so there is always a bay out the front of the shop, phone me when youre out the front, open your passenger window, and I will pop your parcel on the seat and wave you goodbye. I must say my Facebook skill levels have improved immensely over the past week, so keep in touch and please keep safe and for our mental health - keep crafting. I sure am, it keeps me calm in these trying times. See more
15.01.2022 Its about time we take time, to slow down and stitch. Stitched by Alicia at Create and See with wool felt, DMC thread and pattern by Wendy Williams.
14.01.2022 This beautiful embroidery book has just arrived back in stock with purse clasps to match. It would make the perfect Christmas gift because it would keep giving joy throughout the year.
14.01.2022 Sashiko stitched coasters. The set comes with 4 stencilled coasters and 4 plain coasters. I stitched with variegated Sashiko thread and backed them with Liberty christmas fabric. I then traced 4 designs on the blank squares so I now have 8 coasters for christmas cheer.
14.01.2022 Our beautiful Nikora passed peacefully on Saturday. I am so grateful to Maddie from Madeleine Cooper Photography for capturing some really special moments with my girl. They are priceless.
13.01.2022 Both the panel and coasters are made in Japan, Sashiko in Japanese means "little stabs", with the design marked on the fabric that will then wash out after stitched with running stitch. The coasters are a small project that finished makes a perfect gift. The Sashiko panels are a larger project that can be adapted into numerous items. Its a wonderful way to take some time to sit, stitch and relax plus it keeps you out of the pantry at night or falling asleep on the lounge.
13.01.2022 We are open today from 9am - 5pm. So its your last chance to collect what you need to complete your 2018 projects! We are closed tomorrow for News Years Day but would like to thank you all for your support, kind words and encouragement. Im one of the lucky ones who enjoys coming to work everyday. Happy New Year to you all!
12.01.2022 Last week I had an enquiry regarding lost car keys. I have just stumbled over a car key tucked amongst some rolls of fabric. Does it belong to you? I shall leave it a day or two and then drop it of at the police station.
11.01.2022 On Saturday we held the EZ Breezy Table Runner quilt as you go workshop. We had a wonderful afternoon, we cut and stitched and ironed some more and Wow it was worth it.
11.01.2022 Environmentally aware and need a project thats achievable. Crochet or knit 100% cotton dishcloths and facewashers. Doubtful how good they really are, try one and youll be hooked. 4ply, 8ply and 10ply cotton, hooks, needles and patterns all available plus some good advice.
11.01.2022 The image in the link was not Alicias embroidered wreath but here is proof of the pudding. It is simply beautiful.
10.01.2022 My absolute favourite knitting needles, that I have used for over 12 years are back in store just in time for the Christmas holidays. Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needles - Over 500 combinations of straight and circular needles and stitch holders, all in the case which only measures 21cm x 17cm. I discovered how brilliant they were when we travelled to Broome many years ago. If your out camping, relax cause you have it in the case. If you do happen to lose a piece in the sand, don't worry cause I also have extra extenders, end buttons, companion sets and larger needles.
10.01.2022 What a wonderful suprise to see Create and See get a mention in the Weekend West Travel guide today in an article written by Stephen Scourfield. Curiosity got the better of me so I read his profile on Google. I do remember both him and his partner, as we had quite a chat. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay and the town should feel proud to be titled "Esperance in a world of its own"
09.01.2022 I'm in a happy place when surrounded by wool.

07.01.2022 Macramé is another blast from the past, it brings back fond memories of the 80's. The owl is far more intricate than the ones we created back then but the bag definitely takes you back to the zone. I have kits, rope, rings, wooden beads and books to inspire the knotter. The kits start from $13.10 and make a great gift for all ages.

05.01.2022 This candle was lit at the dawn service at Hellfire Pass in 2010. (Hellfire Pass is the name of a railway cutting on the former Burma Railway in Thailand). Today it was lit once again for the dawn service in my driveway. Lest We forget.

03.01.2022 Just unpacked another little treat for Christmas. Got another 2 big boxes to go. Its just like Christmas for me too, cause I cant remember what I ordered.
03.01.2022 Spring has sprung but there is still enough chill in the air to wear this cowl that I have been crocheting for a wee while. The wool is Australian Superfine Merino and the pattern is available. Believe me working with this yarn is pure bliss.
02.01.2022 Table Runners are still on my agenda. I made this as a gift and it was an achievable project size for me. I was inspired by a runner that a customer bought in for show and tell, it was a runner with floating Hexies. I did my own interpretation, because I loved the texture of the Japanese Fabric that had a Hexagon print. I also had a selection of random Japanese prints that I made my hexagons from. I then placed them and machine stitched them in place then added a piped border.
02.01.2022 I just received boxes of Family Fun and Tie Dye Kits were some of the goodies just unpacked, perfect timing for the long weekend. I am open till 5pm today but closed until Tuesday 9am - 5pm or shop online. I have uploaded them on the web site, just follow the link http://www.createandsee.com.au/Product%20Catalogue.aspx Enjoy your weekend, stay safe and carry on crafting.
01.01.2022 This Australian Birds Christmas fabric takes me back to my childhood. Our street was full of huge beautiful gum trees and there was so many birds, I can hear the laugh of the Kookaburra as I write. We had so many kids in the street and we would have honky nut fights with the kids in the house behind and our neighbours had a white Cockatoo called Colonel whom I befriended and fed. Our house had a magnificent Wattle in the front garden that attracted so many birds. What a blast from the past, they really were the good old days.
01.01.2022 Finally managed to post page 2, I have been dropping in out of range most of the night and I need to brush up on my skills as I had a few attempts at the first page A link for an interview by the same journalist that is well worth watching https://westtravelclub.com.au/stori/lucky-country-esperance
01.01.2022 Upcycle your distressed jeans with simple stitching and sashiko thread.
