16.01.2022 Sacred Geometry - Torus The shape known as a 'Torus' is a type of vortex. The word torus comes from the Latin word meaning swelling. In sacred geometry it is the first shape to emerge from the Genesis Pattern. The torus is found in everything from atoms, to life forms and even in all cosmic bodies such as stars and galaxies. It is a primary shape in existence. ... For many years ‘seers’ have taught that the human aura appears as a series of nested torus formations around the body. Energy flows through the center of the body and loops around to connect the feet and head. The flow from the feet to the head is bi-directional.The energy is flowing through the surface of the torus and inside an in a spiraling pattern, this is why the sacred geometry shape is shown with curves lines throughout the middle, while also adding the illusion of a 3D perspective to the 2D depiction. The Torus is a 2 dimensional depiction of a 3 dimensional shape, like many other sacred geometry forms.

15.01.2022 Learning something new today. Balinese botanical drawings.

12.01.2022 Working on a landscape today, it was for Kingston Art Blitz. They give you 24 hours to produce a piece of art, this years theme was Home. This is the first visible bit of our great southern land from an airplane, a photo I took on my last flight home from Bali. I believe it’s the northern tip of Western Australia. I wasn’t happy with where I got in 24 hours so I haven’t submitted it. It’s still a work in progress, needs more layers. I’ve been stretching myself, trying new things, learning how to use different media. This one is primarily acrylic ink and golden fluid. I’ll keep working on it and show you the final result when it’s finished. What do you think? When was the last time you tried something new? Maybe you could set yourself a theme and see where that takes you. #artistsoninstagram #art #landscape #goldenfluidacrylics
