That is why when we truly love someone, we appreciate both sides, and when we resent or infatuate with someone/something we unwisely see one side without the other. Infatuations lead us into over-investing our time, energy and efforts, only to later discover the other side and wake ourselves up to t...he delusion we had created. Resentments irregulate the bodies chemical and hormone production and occupy time and space in our minds, robbing us of precious time/energy in our lives, ultimately taking us away from what we value. No one is worth putting on a pedestal or placing into a pit, but everyone is worth putting into our hearts, seeing both sides equally and loving them as a whole. This is why when we love someone for who they are, they become who we love, and when they are compared to fantasy within our minds, no matter what they do, we continually punish them and ourselves in the process of comparison to an imaginary illusion.
