22.01.2022 We had a design challenge with a twist today, Tuesday Hubbers were put into teams and given the task to develop a new business for wagga, with marketing material, floor plans, logos, a tag line and next week, a tv advertisement with the help of the returning special guest movie star @hayaarzidin. 08.01.2022 Today was day 1 of Create Hub’s partnership with STARTTS and @elaine_camlin_artist delivering a multicultural women’s art group thanks to funding from @creatensw Country Art Support program. We had participants from Iraq, Taiwan, Iran and South Africaeho have all made Wagga their home through many different journeys. Today was focused on getting to know one another and talking through ideas of what the next 6 months will look like. There was a shared love of food, sharing in culture, nature, oh, and Leonardo Di Caprio. It was a beautiful morning with some wonderful gentle individuals. I so look forward to the learning and friendships that will come from having the opportunity to facilitate this program. We still have spaces in our school holiday program, craft sessions (I bought SO many supplies today!) that will include paper printing, beading, candle resist/watercolour exploration, collage craziness and so many Pom poms, feathers, googly eyes and crafty goodness!
