08.01.2022 This week at CILQ we are celebrating NAIDOC week, the children have learnt that indigenous people use songs and stories to express their beliefs and the origins and meaning of life and land forms, the cycles of nature, and the harmony and conflict among human life and the animal world. The dreaming refers to how indigenous peoples explain the beginning and the continuity of life. Dreaming stories pass on important knowledge, cultural values and belief systems.
