24.01.2022 Q.1 What is CLG? CLG is a fundraising platform that combines a consumer loyalty program with a banking system that captures and splits reward DOLLARS (not points!), and then directly deposits them into our cardholders designated projects fundraising account. Our cardholders can select up to four projects to support at any one time, and can easily change them by logging into their card account and browsing what projects are currently available to link to their card.... The CLG card is a reloadable prepaid debit/credit card which has set and forget technology to ensure there are always adequate funds to pay for goods and services at our supporting businesses. All our supporting businesses offer immediate cash-back discounts, or rebates. However, you are not limited to using your card at these businesses, as the cards are accepted anywhere in Australia.

19.01.2022 Hello and welcome to Admasu and Samuel, both from Ethiopia and, it would appear, supporters of www.facebook.com/beyondtheorphange. It may take some time for CLG to reach this far, but rest assured, we can and most certainly will give it our best shot.

18.01.2022 Using money to make a difference... "We can create our own currencies if we need to. We dont have to wait around for the banks or the governments to do it for us", (Take it Personally, 2001 p.233). Not one that typically sprouts quotes but the above reminded me of what createlinkgive is all about - generating social change through its community currency. If our membership grew to 1000 card users spending roughly $105 per week at supporting businesses offering 5% discount th...en we could collectively generate over $200 000 (http://www.createlinkgive.com.au/social-change). Imagine if a small portion of that went to Kiva.org, or World Vision or directly to communities with basic needs - village water, sewerage, etcetera. We all consume hence we CAN use our money to make a difference. See more

18.01.2022 In recognition that great things take time, we would like to start the process of sourcing a couple of worthwhile community-driven projects that can become the first beneficiaries of our give a little, gain a lot fundraising platform. So please, if you know of any such projects, or have connections with those in the fundraising space, make a suggestion or share this page with the appropriate people. CLG - the community-driven social fundraiser

14.01.2022 Q.6 How secure is CLG with my funds and those that I share with my community? Short answer - VERY SECURE. All funds associated with the CLG fundraising platform are held in trust by an Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI) supervised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).... The card and account data that is managed through the CLG website is further protected under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), this being an industry standard that requires critical protective measures including secure management, policies, procedures, network architecture, and software design. To reiterate - all funds, card and transactional data are highly secured.

07.01.2022 Part of our long term objective is to give CLG members the option to share some, or all of their discounts, with communities experiencing real poverty and long term social instability. To facilitate this capacity it is important that we partner with like minded agencies that work in this specialist field. Yesterday we commenced initial discussions with Christine Pollard from AFAP Action on Poverty, and are looking forward to developing a long term relationship with them as a ...key partner in servicing our off-shore fundraising capabilities. This is quite an exciting step for us and, no doubt, we will keep you posted on further progress. CLG - retail therapy of a different kind

07.01.2022 We need some SMILING VOLUNTEERS on March 3rd @ Lane Cove Plaza to help with water bucket races, water bottle give aways and pass out fliers for our Wold Walks for Water. Post here or email if you can help out- we have groovy outfit accessories and muffins on the morning if you do!

05.01.2022 Q.2 What type of projects can be supported through CLG? Basically any community-driven project, whether that be the football club house, the eco-garden, the open arts centre, the school canteen upgrade, or even a family that is need of some financial assistance. Whats more, if a member wishes to sponsor a community beyond their local setting by overseeing a particular project, then funds can be raised for village water, educational materials, basic health needs and the like.... No doubt we still have a little bit of fine tuning, but for further details see http://www.createlinkgive.com.au/create-a-project. And please feel free to respond with your questions.

04.01.2022 No doubt our unique fundraising platform is very multifaceted. Yet once you understand some of the basic features you will quickly appreciate how simple and seamless it is at generating substantial funds for community-driven projects. Our immediate plan is to explain the key features over the next few weeks so that when CLG goes live in the very near future, you and your family and friends will be confidently poised to create your fundraising presence and make projects happen.... And as a way of starting the conversation, please sit back and enjoy this song... Cheers.

04.01.2022 "Credit card customers of the big four banks have to spend a whopping $18,000 to earn a $100 rewards program shopping voucher, according to new research from the Reserve Bank."
