And the toughest part is that we all have to do our part to ensure we successfully come out the other side of this. These times can be tough and challenging. Not only is the marjory of the world going into unknown territory and financial strain, but we have to isolate to protect each other. Which is crazy because usually to support and look after one another we...'ve always been taught to be present and available?! What can we do to help? Be mindful that not everyone you know has a partner or someone special to rely on. Check in on all your friends regularly! More than 2.3 million Australians live on their own and unlike people with families, partners or housemates, the lockdown has sentenced them to an indefinite period of no physical contact and limited face-to-face interaction. We can't understand what this is like unless experiencing it first hand. - Call or text your friends and family regularly. You could be someone's only conversation all day! - Make video chat dates or play games together! Facebook or other social media doesn't replace real conversations with other people. So avoid seeking your social interaction via comments you leave on someones post. Stay safe everyone, I miss all my beautiful couples and cannot wait to be on the other side of this so we can celebrate your love stories in style!
