25.01.2022 If any of my local friends are out and about Sunday morning, be sure to come and say hi and have a look at the craft destash, Maryborough Recreation Centre, cnr Ariadne and Woodstock Sts. Pick up material, ribbons, scrapbooking supplies... you name it! I'll have some bead strands and bead supplies there, thankfully I've got my two little offsiders Mitch and Sarah in charge for the morning. As some of you know I had abdominal surgery last month and I'm still a bit off, but now I've also succumbed to a lung infection so unfortunately I won't have as much there as I had planned... but I've certainly had a bit of a beady cleanout

25.01.2022 Happy Friday night everyone! Has been a while, was hoping to bead over the school holidays with the kids... ended up doing everything else. Although didn't stop buying lol. Unfortunately quite a few of these turned up while hubby was home... whoops! Not long finished all the renos on my aunt's house, and finally have tenants in, so fingers crossed I can get more beady time again. Did get some pieces done, but they're pressies so can't share pics yet. Here's a peek at some of the amazing beads that have turned up recently. Anyone see their work?

24.01.2022 Morning everyone!! Well my poor beadboard is down in the dumps lately, been busy with work, bookwork and hubby keeps finding tree lopping jobs for me to help with on weekends here's a little project I've started on.... can anyone guess what I'm going to turn it into???

23.01.2022 Well my little helpers and I are all set up, so why not come down to the Maryborough Community Recreation Centre to the Destash Market and see us. Plenty of craft wares and stalls to look at

23.01.2022 Bbbrrr!! Well it's a bit of a chilly morning here today, so I'm sitting in the sun opening beady parcels here's a cheery colourful pair of earrings I made for a friend in Mackay. All handmade beads by Pauline Delaney and B Marie Washington, and components from Deniz Divleli.

22.01.2022 Welcome to the new year!! So.. not a beady post I know, but this could be a bit more of a clue to what I'm making. Thoughts on how my painting's going please guys!! I think I need some advice

20.01.2022 Finally last day of school for the kidlets!! Don't know where on earth this year has gone, and has been so long since I've posted anything. Managed to get some beaded bookmarks and decorated notebooks done and handed out this morning for Sarah's teacher and teacher aide

19.01.2022 Hi all. Sorry I'm a bit late tonight posting this, but if you're out and about tomorrow morning, why not head to the Fraser Coast Destash Market at the Maryborough Community Recreation Centre. Time for me to destash some of what I have... only to make way for more beads!!!

17.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone! Soooo sitting here.. finally!!.. trying to bead.. and I get "the look". Oh well, at least I just managed to get these gorgeous earrings made with Michelle Hicks Lusk's absolutely gorgeous beads and components

16.01.2022 Hope everyone has had a fantastic Christmas.. the kids definitely did!! Been good to have a break.. certainly didn't plan so long away from the beadboard but back tinkering again. Here's a few makes I made a while back. Hopefully some beading time tonight

15.01.2022 Good evening everyone, and a big hello to all my new likers. Sadly the beadboard has been gathering dust as of late, as I'm still trying to get renovations done on my late aunt's house so I can rent it out. This has been my view on my days off work lately, and I think I might use it as colour inspiration for my next beady project... can anyone guess what it is and what I'm doing???

15.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone!! Hope you've all had.. or depending where you are in the world.. having a great day. The kids are chocolated out, so I managed to sneak down and get a bit of bead room tidying in today (I won't show my bench though lol)... even separately storing each of my wonderful beadmakers work. How do you all store your beads??

13.01.2022 Welcome to July!! And first day of a new financial year. It certainly has been a long time since I posted, and I feel so bad that I'm letting down my artisans that I buy from by not showcasing their beautiful work. The last few months between health issues and specialist appts I've lost of lot of creative flow... but with the kids now on holidays, fingers crossed there's more creating to be done. I was lucky enough to get my beautiful goodies from Linda at Earthshine Beads today, so have put together a little bouquet with a gorgeous bottle from Fiona Horne to brighten up my desk onwards and upwards to making some new pieces

13.01.2022 A very very belated Merry Christmas and hope you have all had a Happy New Year. And I hope everyone is safe from these nasty storms! I was hoping that there was going to be a lot of photos of new work leading up to Christmas, but sadly the beadboard took a break as the only tool I've been wielding is an underlay scraper. I've finally got nearly everything out of my aunt's place, and the old carpet had to go. I was definitely on Santa's naughty list with the amount of beads I bought during the year, which are all now tucked away in my bead room. Hopefully beady playtime is not far away....

12.01.2022 What does one do when they're glued to MKR?? Well opening new bags of beads of course!! Don't mind little missies and my feet, we're just kicking back tonight ripping bags open lol. On the menu here tonight are drool-worthy goodies from Stephanie Gough, Earthshine Beads, Gabriele Servayge, Slinky Lizard and Katerina Sojkova

05.01.2022 Well after an update it seems I can finally post to my page again, Facebook gremlins were doing my head in the beadboard has been a little quiet, but have been managing to buy some more gorgeous beads. The motherload of components arrived today.. not one but three amazing parcels from the gorgeous Joanne Louvaine Bell. Love them!!

04.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone!! Hope you're having a great week so far, sorry it's been so long since I have posted. A few new projects on the go for us, and unfortunately some specialist appts to organise for Sarah and I soon. Have been a bit quiet on the creative front, some weekends lately I've been lucky enough to do my other favourite work.. tree lopping with my husband. I even get to wield a few tools bigger than my beading pliers lol.. and get let loose on the big chainsaw! We're so lucky to get out to different places for work, and the kids come with us.. they even got a couple of days off school for this big job. Have to work tomorrow, but with this beautiful rain around, might be some well-earned beading time Sunday. Enjoy your weekend

03.01.2022 Evening everyone... well it's been a while since I last posted, have had so much going on. Not all good unfortunately, but slowly getting back into some sort of routine. Anyhoo... fast forward to this week... kids back at school and off sick already, so, when in doubt, mum's retreated to the bead room. Even trying to be a clever cookie and put everyone's beads in their own named containers... can anyone see their name? Kids have a ten pin bowling tournament this weekend, hopefully still can find some beading time

02.01.2022 Evening everyone! Well it has been sooooo long!! Kids school holidays have been and gone... and into February already beading has been a bit sidelined lately, have been busy with specialist appt. Luckily I do have a reno project on the go to keep my mind of it... can anyone guess what this is going to become???....

02.01.2022 So what do you make with an old window frame???..... .....A window lol!! (Sort of!) After removing the old glass and repainting the frame, I cut mdf boards to size, sat them together and painted a Bunya Mountains mural on the boards ( tho somehow I didn't plan on the painting looking so dark). Then they were glued in, and back of frame and boards painted. I then added hooks to make it a hat and coat rack. Was suppoed to hang inside the front door, but I miss-measured by --- this much It is now in it's new home in our holiday rental house "The Hutch" at the Bunya Mountains

01.01.2022 To all my local friends looking for something to do this morning... the Fraser Coast Destash Market is on at 9am at the Maryborough Community Recreation Centre til 12. My cute little assistant and I are set up, with material, crochet cottons, lace, beads and so much more. Many different stalls to look at. There's even a sausage sizzle and a coffee van!! Come down and say hi

01.01.2022 Whoops... have been meaning to show the work-in-progress of my frame. Took a bit to get all the old putty and glass out, then sand the paint back and repaint... anyone else want to guess what it's going to be??
