25.01.2022 Going to be Port Macquarie spamming for a week while we are on holidays. Yesterday we went kayaking and fishing. Today we dropped the crab traps bright and early for the mud crabs. Fingers crossed!

This symbol represents a woman’s journey, from youth, to motherhood to crone. She was honoured in rituals on the full moon. Artemis was a virgin who had strong boundaries. 21.01.2022 Forget what day it is. Love those kinds of holidays. The morning was spent with the boys bringing in the crab traps - 6 mud crabs! Yum! We went to Lighthouse beach and met a camel, had lunch at the park then came back for an afternoon kayak. We could get used to this.
21.01.2022 Harper and I went out on the kayak, Jett and Moss fished. Apparently the bream aren't afraid of bears cos Jett caught dinner.
20.01.2022 ***FOR SALE*** "11 Layers Of Love" We all have layers that we have hidden and only show to certain people. We have layers of love for our partner, kids, family, and friends. Who are you when you peel back your layers? As the title says, there are 11 layers in this painting. Layers of acrylic paint, stencils and marks. The black stencil overlay is reminiscent of a peacock's feather. There was a lot of time spent waiting for each layer to dry and sometimes I hit it with the ha...irdryer. It was worth the wait. 15.01.2022 Today's WIP while I try and shake this stupid cold. It is however giving me time to chill out in the garden and enjoy the visitors and my cacti blooming and thriving. The last photo, this guy is bigger than me now! I bought him 2 years ago and he was 30cm tall. He is going to be a full on tree soon! Next step is more pen work and the background. 10.01.2022 This is messy experimentation! One of my favourite things to do before a final artwork. There is no right or wrong and no end to learning. This week I have a cold so couldn't teach my after school kids face to face. The beauty of that is that I got to record the lesson so they could do it at home with their families. This is the first part of the lesson, finding fun things to print with....
