16.01.2022 Last Saturday, a gorgeous group of young artists joined me for an art making session via Zoom. I took the plunge and had a go teaching online and live......it was a huge learning curve and the young artists were amazing with their response! It was lots of fun for everyone We ‘painted’ and made marks using found cardboard. We experimented with printing/marking using various types and shapes of cardboard. We also experimented with dragging and scraping the paint across our pa...per. Here’s what my work space for the session looked like......

13.01.2022 Try an online art making catch up with friends and family. We had a catch up with mums and kids via Zoom and all did collage. We chatted, joked and had a fun time getting creative. ... Here’s what resulted.....collages made by kids aged 9 to 12 years and a few by mums. We all felt relaxed, happy and refreshed after our catch up. Thank you lovely friends!

09.01.2022 On Saturday, I ran another online family art session with a gorgeous group of young artists. We created a collograph. A collograph is a way of printing created by building up the surface of a printing plate with materials. We did this with cardboard from cereal boxes or similar. We then created a print/rubbing from this with crayons. Thank you to the young artists for their wonderful collograph creations which included an elephant, dog, sloth, cat and a few robots.

04.01.2022 All of these guidelines are so very important to help us negotiate life at the moment. This is the best advice I’ve come across and it’s from a psychologist and healthcare professional. Number 20 is very necessary for the human condition.....be creative! Being engaged creatively is helpful for all ages, children and adults to express how we are feeling and find release for our emotions.
04.01.2022 Family art making afternoon lead by our toddler. Her inspiration was the non fiction book all about fish which lead to a few hours of experimenting with paint and some paper plates.
