Over a 3-day period, this exciting event transform...s the town of Murwillumbah into a vibrant and engaging arts experience, championing and celebrating the many diverse and talented artists in our region. The town and shops become the gallery and visitors are invited to follow the exhibition trail including established galleries, artists’ studios, shopfronts, cafes, theatres and historic halls. C...ome along this Sunday and each one after, from 12pm until 4pm at Knox Park near the playground. Art in the Park is a free for all play, with art and craft materials supplied, whilst inspired by music and your community. It will be a family day together in our park. All ages and artistic ability encouraged to join in. Bring some food to share and any art craft project you are working on. Come and hang, share and connect with your community. 01.01.2022 We recently applied for a funding grant from Southern Cross Credit Union for the Murwillumbah Arts Trail 2020 and we need you to vote for us! In case you don’t know, Over a 3 day period from May 1-3 the town of Murwillumbah becomes a showcase of Tweed artists and local created art. MAT20 will weave a network of established galleries, artist studios, pop up exhibitions, public art, experimental film shorts, performance art and chalk art in the street. Visitors are invited to f...ollow the MAT20 map to discover the Arts Trail exhibitions.
