23.01.2022 The children painted on mini canvases yesterday afternoon at the Creative Circle Art class. The students designed and planned their artworks and then painted their masterpieces onto the canvas. It was a lengthy process but they all did so well, creating and experimenting. Well done! 17.01.2022 What a lovely afternoon we had last Wednesday in the final Creative Circle Art class for 2018. We achieved great results drawing the face but had particular fun creating polymer clay creatures. Here are some of the delights. Well done students for all your efforts this year, Im so proud of how well you have done this year. We have covered a lot of art territory, and will continue the journey soon. ... 17.01.2022 They are a couple of superb paintings missing from these pictures, but the ones that are here are the work of our other talented and artistic students. 16.01.2022 Thank you to all our loyal families and students for patiently waiting for news about our art classes this year. In her absence, Mrs Kelly was aiming to have another talented artist, Mr Renac, take over for the time away, however we have been unable to secure the room at Biggera Waters State School. It is not without many hours of trying and negotiations that we are sad to say the classes will not begin in the near future. Stay posted for updates on any changes as they occur. 11.01.2022 Words cant express how proud I am of the Creative Circle Art students from last Wednesday afternoon. The students used their knowledge of the tube and circle system to draw a surfer. The blue framed collage is their initial drawings and the orange framed collage is their almost finished works. Wow! Well done! You make me so proud.

We will be drawing a custom car from one of Monas lessons, then creating our own fantasy car and to top it all off, we will sculpt our car as a miniature in air dry clay, just like the professionals. 08.01.2022 What a success Wednesdays Creative Circle Art class was...... The children learnt the Mona Brookes Tube and Circle system for drawing the human form. We had a lot of fun and learnt very valuable techniques. Next step is learning to transform our tube and circle people into the human form. Cant wait for that lesson.

07.01.2022 Our second last lesson for the year will be a beauty. We have a beautiful drawing of a bird in a cage to try before we draw and paint our designs onto canvas. These will be spectacular. We will also be painting our clay creations that we made two weeks ago. They are dry and ready for action. 05.01.2022 In this Wednesdays Creative Circle Art class we will be drawing the majestic Bengal Tiger. After carefully sketching him, we will colour him with watercolour. Im looking forward to the results as these animals have such strong colourings and personalities, that the watercolour may not do him justice. An interesting experiment. 04.01.2022 We had so much fun yesterday drawing our boats that we almost ran out of time to colour them. The students did so well with a very advanced drawing. Yesterday also saw us hit a milestone of our maximum number of students. After eighteen months of classes, I am so proud to be able to bring these classes to the children and to watch them progress each and every week. Each week is total a joy and I would like to thank each of the students for coming and sharing their skills, imagination and laughter and most importantly to their parents for having the knowledge to understand just how important the arts are to their children. You are doing them more good than you realise and will notice benefits for life. Thank you.

04.01.2022 We are back to our favourite this Wednesday in our Creative Circle Art class....Clay. We will be looking at some of the Principles of Design including balance to imagine, design and construct a clay creation. Using our hands in this way improves our fine motor skills and teaches resilience, as clay can be a tricky medium. ... 04.01.2022 This week the students experienced drawing with white charcoal. We used the shape and image of a Nautilus shell to create our images. The results are spectacular. There will be no class next Wednesday due to the unavailability of the room but we will be back on Wednesday the 8th of August with a new and exciting task.

02.01.2022 Our Ninjas are almost ready. Just a little paint and some accessories and they will be finished. This weeks lesson is a continuation on from last week, and we may well have a bit of time for some drawing too. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
