25.01.2022 Creative Communities was incredibly honoured to host Jonty Bush - Member for Cooper @ Civosity Park today. Jonty has worked with the Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group, and has also previously been a member of the Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council . She won the 2009 Young Australian of the Year Award, recognising her work in advocacy for victims of crime in Queensland. Jonty is an inspiration to all those who are fortunate enough to have met her.

The stronger ...your entry statement, the more likely people will enter. This shop has strengthened their entry by: placing plants on either side of the entrance; putting out a welcome mat; painting a red frame around the doorway; and keeping signage to a minimum so it doesn’t compete with the doorway. 14.01.2022 We are so incredibly proud to launch "The Great Race". David Engwicht's wish for his upcoming 70th birthday was to create his own sculpture (for Civosity Park) and have it cast in bronze. This sculpture has been funded by family, friends, locals and those that value David's contributions to the community. Thank you all for your generosity, we have been blown away! We can't wait for everyone to check out the great race when they get a chance

09.01.2022 BUSINESS BOOSTER TIP #6 - If people walking PAST your business feel like they’re already IN your business space, it reduces their resistance to entering, espe...cially for the first time. It also gives them a taster of the experience on offer inside. This business in Cleveland accomplished both these things by extending the work table (at which you paint a pot, then have it fired) right through the front display window. Potential customers don’t have to make a large psychological commitment to learn what the business has to offer. How can you blur the boundary between the inside and outside of your business? 03.01.2022 BUSINESS BOOSTER TIP #5 - Previously we showed you a technique for distinguishing your windows from your doorway: framing the windows so they are clearly displa...y windows. Here is another technique: making it appear like the window display comes all the way through the glass, making the windows virtually disappear. Of course, you can also make your entry more welcoming if you can train your dog to be the welcoming host! See more
