22.01.2022 It is probably the anxiety-disorder in me, but I have never been much of a fan of cold-calling or cold-emailing. I do, however, know that it works brilliantly for some other businesses. BUT let me tell you something I was reminded of today... do your research before picking up the phone or sending that email. I was called twice and sent an email today by a company cold calling Wespray (my other business), we get these often so I wasn't that phased. It was very obvious they ...had not done any research, however, because they gave me their audience demographics and there was NOTHING in WA- not a thing. Had they have done their research they would know that we are based in WA and sell to a primary WA market. Sure, they could help us expand into an Aus-wide market but there was no mention of this, and it is not the right time in agriculture. (something else they should have acknowledged). The key takeaway here: know your audience. People are more likely to work with you from a cold-call if you are well informed and have done your homework.

03.01.2022 Website re-design has a little bit more pressure on it than an initial design does. There is obviously something about the original site that the client doesn't like, my job is to find out what that is and fix it in my design. Sometimes it is as simple as the business has had a re-brand and wants a new site to reflect that. Sometimes there is something on the site that the business no longer feels necessary. When you come to me for a re-design, these are the sorts of questions I may ask you in order to make sure I give you the best re-designed website possible!
