20.01.2022 A great way to stretch your legs after spending a few hours painting beautiful sunset glows, is to do a line-up for a photo. Everyone had to do the obligatory crazy pose Sonia asks her attendees to do... It was a time of fun, laughter and sharing... it was a time of creating together... One of the ladies had NEVER painted before and was saying how much she enjoyed the time.... 12.01.2022 Fabulous ‘Come Paint With Me’ class today with a beautiful tender-hearted student painting for her first time! Such a rich use of colour and imagery that was personally significant. She was so so happy! And then ... after class wouldn’t let me leave and returned with flowers. She didn’t know she’d be my last student for the year and her kindness blessed my heart!

12.01.2022 Our philosophy at Creative Hearts Art is to raise up the artists. Love. Support. Encourage. The 8x8 to Educate exhibition with a worthwhile cause is raising funds to educate girls in developing nations, and organized by empathetic young hearts in Gold Coast high schools. There is hope for our future! $15 to enter your 8" x 8" (20cm x 20cm) artwork to compete for prizes, all pieces are offered for sale for $30 during the exhibition, with proceeds to the fundraiser.

11.01.2022 This is a follow on of a post a few weeks back where you were challenged to guess what Wendy Manzo Art was painting... Well heres the end product... recently finished off with lots of love and care... and of course varnish. You can see this completed work, which is one in a collection of three paintings in Wendys If I had a Hammer series which is a response to current travel restrictions... ... I think we can all relate :-)

Covid compliance mean limited places, book early as these classes will fill fast. The Creative Hearts Art gallery is on level 1 of Australia Fair, opposite Kmart, in Southport on the Gold Coast. 06.01.2022 Creativity was flowing at todays Magnolia Watercolour Pencils workshop that was held at the Creative Hearts Art Gallery in Australia Fair. Jennifer Phillips Artist & Art appreciated the thoughtful gesture of an attendee who brought along some real magnolias. Jennifer said that this was the first shed seen up close for years, and that it was such a help and a blessing. How beautiful are the lovely cards and artworks

Yesterday we talked non-stop as this gorgeous soul filled her heart and mind with everything she wanted to learn from me and broke through the barrier of Ive not painted since school.
