23.01.2022 LIVING ROOM RUG After searching for the perfect rug, we decided to stick with something natural, which complimented our Mono-Chromatic Colour Scheme. We've added natural textures for contrast. I purchased this Rug from West Elm, Pottery Barn ... couldn't be more happier with our choice.

21.01.2022 ENTRY HALL TABLE I always find it challenging trying to get the right mix of things to put on a hall table. We have so many other features in the entry ... we have a Hall Table, Wine Wall, Park Bench and this quirky little wall shelf. I'm not one for clutter, but I still wanted to continue the Rustic Theme as this area flows into the main living area and kitchen.

19.01.2022 Ive finally managed to find the time to decorate a little for Christmas. Ive kept it very simple this year since our new kitten is finding a lot of pleasure in destroying all the decor and decorations. In saying that, Im liking the naked trees.

17.01.2022 CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN Celebrating Laura's Birthday and for dessert we are having Chocolate Fountain alongside her Birthday cake Nothing is better than teaching your Strawberry to swim in Chocolate, before shoving it in your mouth !!!!

16.01.2022 PARK BENCH - ENTRY Even though I don't anticipate sitting on this bench anytime soon, it is a handy place to sit my handbag, shopping etc whilst I empty the rest of the car. The bench is located directly in front of the internal garage door. Obviously, I had to style it to blend in with the rest of the home.

14.01.2022 DIRTY WASHING ORGANISATION The other day whilst at IKEA I came across these great storage hampers. As my friends know, I'm a "Label Freak" so I just made some cute labels for them and popped them into my Laundry Cupboard. Amazingly, they were a perfect fit !!! Now, the "theory is" my teenage kids will bring down their washing and sort it into relevant baskets making my life a little easier when I wash. Ok ... I may be a little presumptuous, but one has to have hope

13.01.2022 SHOWER DISPENSER I must admit, I was a little reluctant at the beginning to spend nearly $100 on a Dispenser when the 267 different bottles of Shampoo, Condition & Shower Gel that accumulate in my teenagers showers worked fine. Well let me tell you, in hindsight it has been money well spent. I love that I don't have "goopy, soapy mould" to clean that accumulates behind the 267 bottles. I think it looks, clean, organised and functional

11.01.2022 QUIRKY SHELF - ENTRY There is so much that I love about this little shelf that a purchased from a Garden Shop about 15 years ago. It's not the easiest piece to style, but you can't go wrong with a couple of succulents !!! It's a handy little spot to place our keys as it's right next to the Alarm System as we walk in the door.

11.01.2022 Floral Arrangement I spent the morning at Hostwins, Wangara agonising over Artificial Flowers. I needed certain colours and flower types to match the new Linen I finished making at 3am !!! (Will Post Photos Later). Now the tricky bit .... flower arranging !!!

10.01.2022 The last 2 weeks have been spent cooking, baking and preparing for our upcoming party for 100 Guests. I decided to do homemade Canapés and Finger food, and subsequently my 2 large freezers are now packed full. Today I made 124 Mini Quiche.

09.01.2022 SUCCULENT TERRARIUM I enjoy gardening ... I enjoy growing my own vegetables, but I'm useless with indoor plants. I think I kill them with love. So, my solution is "Fake Plants". In a time where fake boobs ... fake eyelashes ... and fake tan is acceptable, I can't see why fake plants can't make that list .

06.01.2022 I created this simple display in a nook between the Master Bedroom and Guest Suite. Because it is visible from the main living area I wanted to continue the flow rustic decor.

03.01.2022 Candy Kebabs ... I think they look a bit Cute !!! I'm feeling a little ill as I think I sampled 38 lollies too many as I made them.

02.01.2022 A sneak peek at the Fabric I based my floral arrangement on. I made these Pillows out of a Ted Baker Quilt Cover I purchased from Myer. I fell in love with the fabric the moment I saw it, however I knew it was too dark for the main quilt cover, so I cut it up and made Pillows instead. I will post photos tomorrow of the completed room.

02.01.2022 I'm always tempted to Scrapbook my current photos that were taken with the intention to Scrapbook ... you know ... matching outfits ... perfect backdrop ... a heart melting smile. My mission is to try and Scrapbook random photos that although they aren't "picture perfect" ... they have HUGE sentimental value and memories ... after all, it's why we Scrapbook !!!!
