25.01.2022 This is Corrine, another Educator to join our CLP team. Corrine has completed her Diploma in Education and Care and is a super mum with 4 children of her own. With many years experience in childcare and her kind & gentle ways, Corrine will be a great assest to our team. She may have already introduced herself to you, as she did commence a couple of weeks ago :)

25.01.2022 Friendly reminder that the "Government free childcare" ends this week. From Monday 13th July childcare fees will be charged & uploaded through our Ezidebit system as previously set up.

22.01.2022 Next Wednesday 2nd September is Educator appreciation day. I have organised a special morning tea for all our lovely ladies to enjoy on the day. Feel free to show your appreciation by leaving a warm & fuzzy comment below or send a pm if you wish to remain anonymous from staff. All comments will be shared with staff on the day :)

22.01.2022 Our new Children's hats have arrived. Please see staff to purchase your child's hat today. As we practise Sunsmart recommendations it is important that ALL children have a hat for outdoors.

22.01.2022 Please say hello to our new pet Rabbit "Bluey" he is only a baby at the moment but will grow to be about 4kgs. Our children are very excited to have a pet rabbit again after the loss of Roger a few months ago.

22.01.2022 Today we said goodbye to our Educator Kristy B who is finishing up at our Centre who has been with us for 1.5 years. Kristy is a gentle, caring Educator who had built up some great relationships with the children & so everyone will miss her alot. Kristy B writes and Illustrates children's books in her spare time and so gifted the children with 1 of her books :) thank you. Best of luck with everything xx

21.01.2022 We have 2 new mud kitchens which will be featured outside alongside our sandpits. Feeling very lucky with our new additions.

19.01.2022 On Friday we celebrated Red nose Day in recognition of SIDS. Some of our children came dressed in red but we all joined the fun with red jelly play, red playdough play and painting red noses on our paper faces. Jenny made us some yummy red nose cupcakes for afternoon tea yummy!!

18.01.2022 Part time position, Educator needs to hold a Cert 3 and must flexible with rosters and shift times. We are looking for an Educator to join our small team that is is committed and passionate about working in the Children's Services Industry.

17.01.2022 Please welcome Tyla to our team. She has recently moved to the PK area, she has 2 years experience in childcare and 1 year experience working in child protection. Tyla is currently studying her Cert 3 in Childcare and will be joining our CLP family.

Our doors open up to a "Family like" environment with a wonderful team of Educators who are dedicated to programming, planning and working every day with all of your little people. We just love our jobs and watching the children grow and develop in many ways in so rewarding.

16.01.2022 This Friday 14th is Red nose Day, we are celebrating in style with a little rockers disco. Please come dressed in red and gold coin donations will be collected to support this cause.

13.01.2022 Tonight's staff meeting was all about teamwork, leading, empowering and working effectively. Sarah from Communicare facilitated the meeting which incorporated the The Phoenix Cups framework. It was very interesting to learn about our team mates and how they work and what helps to fill their empty cup :)

13.01.2022 Yesterday the children enjoyed a group session and spoke about the soldiers at war, we also painted poppies with lid tops.After lunch we let the children watch the soldiers arriving for Remembrance Day at the park across from us. They listened to the piper and then the bugle, then the cannon went off. The children sat patiently and showed great interest in this. In the afternoon they made Anzac slice to eat. Yummy!!

12.01.2022 We are very excited to show you our new uniforms for the Children! Children will have a real sense of belonging wearing these to daycare! No need to worry about what to dress them in anymore! This is also a great way to prepare the kindy children for school! Tops will be ready from next week for $20 each (discount applies for multiple shirts) and hats are still a few weeks away at $15 each. Please leave your order with the staff or email the centre. [email protected] Payment can be added to your bill. Sizes range from baby to kindy age for both hats and tops. Thank you, we hope you love them as much as we do!

11.01.2022 Our Toddlers and Kindy areas are always buzzing with the sound of laughter, singing & curious little people. Every day the children are engaged in learning and play with Educators providing lots of challenging activities to further their skills & knowledge.

10.01.2022 Our Babies room caters for up to 12 babies. Our bright and Sunny indoor & outdoor areas provides lots opportunities to explore & learn in a stimulating way. Our Educators are always attentive to meeting the babies needs.

10.01.2022 Please bring your children into daycare on Friday 7th August dressed in their coolest Jeans to support children's medical research institute finding cures for genetic diseases. Gold coin donation appreciated to help raise funds and awareness for this cause.

09.01.2022 Some of you may have already seen Mia's face in our babies Room, where she completed her placement hours for her Cert 3 recently. We are very excited to offer her a position joining our team of Educators. Say hello to Mia, who will also be signing up for her traineeship and completing her Diploma in Education and Care.

09.01.2022 Our NAIDOC week displays in each room. The children in kindy have started to paint tins in red, yellow & black colours to make some wind chimes. All rooms have been reading many books to the children, learning about the land, animals and culture.

08.01.2022 Our children are beyond lucky and excited with our addition in our playground. Check out our Safari Jeep complete with "Creative Learning" number plates. Thank you so much to our local Port Kennedy business Creative Play Australia for building us our new Jeep. Hours of imaginative and exploration play to come.

07.01.2022 We had a great morning at our Welcome back Party!! Minnie and Mickey mouse were a hit with the kids giving hi 5's, cuddles and dancing. Bouncy castle and morning tea was also enjoyed by all this morning outside.

01.01.2022 Reminder- upcoming PARENT NIGHT, Please join us for our parent & Educators to come together socially to view your individual child's portfolios, discuss your child's progress and view our lovely environments (after lots of renovations and changes have been made). 19th Nov 6-7.30pm. We would love the opportunity to catch up, we all live such busy lives & it's always nice to meet up without the rush of the busy drop off and collection times.

01.01.2022 Well done to our children for practising in our Emergency evacuation drill this morning. Kindy and Toddlers held onto the rope and quickly & safely walked to the Muster point in our car park in an efficient manner.
