15.01.2022 Revamping old "brochures" by re-writing and re-designing them into 2 new posters! Victor didn't mind the colours in the new poster as many of his participants complimented him on it. It's good to stand out sometimes if it's done with plenty of thought! (Before images of the brochures from the early 2000's) - Right 2 images of the new posters I did up). How I work with clients - they just give me any material they have in all forms - old brochures, flyers, brain dumps in Wor...d docs, SMSes and other instant messaging (as ideas just pop at random times), and I'll make it into "fairies and unicorns" by telling their story and presenting it in a unique and compelling way. 07.01.2022 Let's talk Infographics The not-so-new but still sexy way to visually show an idea, process, outcome, concept and technical facts. Writing and creating infographics is one of my favourite projects for clients because they have heaps of great ideas and knowledge but are often stuck on how to articulate them clearly, simply and aesthetically to the layman. I love helping them because it involves the whole process with creative copy, design and conceptual planning. ... Infographics are a powerful way to educate, inform and inspire your audience if done well and creatively. These are two infographics I created for a new company doing indoor vertical farming. While I was helping them with their website copy, I suggested that having infographics to explain some of the more technical product features would be helpful and they agreed. *How it's done* I took the information from their current website + my research then started planning the infographic theme including images and titles. The copy followed, and the result is... (Compared to excessive text, I think this sure helps someone understand the benefits of vertical farming in a more interactive and engaging way) :)

06.01.2022 So much hurt and pain in the world today. While we are so fortunate to sit in our cushy homes with the heaters on, sipping our hot chocolate and working from a desk with a roof over our precious heads, many have lost their lives from this virus and from acts of violence. My heart goes out to Mr George Floyd and his family in this harsh and very difficult time. I also hope that real justice is done to the perpetrators!
