25.01.2022 Night #3 & Show number 4 (last one) of this ESC Music Showcase series. This is also our 16th show since we began filming these great concerts over two years ago. A lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun! Looking forward to getting the DVD's out before Xmas.

25.01.2022 We are excited for tomorrow as we begin filming our first short film for the year, a drama written by Brandi Self titled Strayed: featuring Chantelle Naude and Abbey Russell. Heres a snapshot of the many faces of our youngest cast member, Abbey as the strong-willed and perceptive Riley.

24.01.2022 And here are a few behind the scenes images of our short film Strayed on Day 03. This was a tough one to shoot. A lot of child extras and about an hour to shoot the entire scene before the sun went down was a little bit crazy. But we did it! And happy to say, everything went perfectly :)

21.01.2022 Filming for our short film Strayed has wrapped! A huge thanks to all cast and crew that made this possible, the edits have now been finalised and is now off to sound design. Now we have the chance to sort through some our behind the scenes images taken by the lovely Liz Blackshaw. Starting off a few with our furry star Walt who plays Bobo. This is the first time we had an animal featured in one of our films and this big, gorgeous boy did not disappoint :)

19.01.2022 One of the best things about being Videographers is that we get the opportunity to attend awesome events and learn new things. One of the organizations we had the pleasure to work with is Impact-Education and it's passionate Director Natalie Nicholls who offers personal development workshops for our children's parents, teachers and educators. 19.01.2022 We are currently in full swing with a new project of ours in which we are Recording, Mixing and Producing a 6 Track EP for a Local Perth Rock Band named Nothing Pretty. We are also creating a Music Video for one of the Tracks off of the EP to launch the EP into the public domain. Linda & I are collaborating on this Project with a fellow Audio Engineer and local, Stuart Anderson, to make the album sound awesome! The EP will be available for Sale online at the beginning of May this year (2018). 14.01.2022 As we approach the filming dates for our WWI short film Anzac Cove, last Sunday we and Hustle and Bustle Costumes assembled the cast for some final costume fittings, actor head-shots and film promo pics. We are getting very excited as it all comes together! Don't those period costumes (and make-up) look fantastic?

13.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone! Its been a long time between updates. We have had many exciting things happen and are very much looking forward to 2019. Creative Media will undergo a few changes and we cannot wait to share them with you. Our most recent project, while not film related, but still very much dear to our hearts, involved being part of a worldwide project photographing sick children with Santa on a green screen background at Perth Childrens Hospital for the Heart Proje...cts Christmas Wish 2018, organised by Karen Aslop of Story Art. We then surprised them with a magical edited photo a few days later. It was a great day and are looking forward to next year. Here are a few shots of our Perth team having a few fun shots with Santa during the breaks. We would like to thank all involved who donated their time and resources. Team Digital, Doyles Costumes Wangara, Nikon, SmugMug, Eizo, Wacom, Kayell Australia, Epson Adobe and Seldex and of course, our amazing Perth team of volunteers who managed to successfully bring plenty of smiles and joy to a lot of families and children that day.

12.01.2022 For those of you that know us personally, you all know we love our music! Most especially our Rock! (well, John most so ). So you can only imagine the fun times we had making this Music Video for a local Perth band Nothing Pretty. The theme for this clip was "Getting to the Gig", and if you watch all the way to the end you may even see John's cameo appearance. We hope you enjoy watching it as we did making it.

11.01.2022 "Mountains" Music Video we filmed and produced for a local Perth Band Nothing Pretty. We really enjoyed working with them on this project. It was written an Produced by Linda Hewell and the Sound Design by John W Hewell Also, a huge Thank You to Director Joel Siroen and the entire cast and crew for not only helping us create such a great little short film, but making it super fun to do!

10.01.2022 We began production for Anzac Cove on Sunday. The weather was a little dodgy that day ranging from bright sunshine to pouring rain but we managed to film this scene right before the heavy rain set in. The kids were great and did a fabulous job! Well done boys. You were all fantastic :)
