16.01.2022 Personal Profile Kevin Jones - A Man of Many Hats. For many years Kevin has been wearing many hats in and about the local Pemberton community and beyond. From teacher linguist to visual arts and music teacher to professional musician and crafts person, permaculturalist and parent, Kevin has led a rich and varied life. It has always been his aim to work toward living the three overarching ethics of Permaculture of Earth Care, ... People Care and Fair Share Personal Story After nearly a decade living and working in remote indigenous communities in the Northern Territory he moved south with my two young children to build a house and establish a permaculture farm near Pemberton. Now for over 25 years, he has been working on this land in Wandergarup, being custodian of a small section of the EastBrook biosphere, and by tending the land to create a sustainable income. In recent years all of these aspects have coalesced to begin the growing of fine organic truffles and creating arts and music from home in the biotically rich southern forest. The Land 'Creativille' as the farm is now known, was country through which the Bibbulmun people walked and was as part of Wandergarup - ' Place of lots of water' The name Creativille, was given to the land, as it fits best the range of activities taking place on it, with musical concerts, organic living workshops, pottery and food production.
