14.01.2022 When I created the Silver Sirens community in 2018, my vision was that it would go beyond just being social media experience. I was inspired to create an annual... event that could bring some of our community together to share our experiences and to inspire and motivate each other to pursue our individual dreams. Our next event, Re-defining A Brave World, (which this year is online) is a response to the changing times we live in. Are we going back to the old normal or can we as women, as elders, as sirens re-vision a brand new world which includes equality for all, respect for our planet and the animals we share it with. And most of all, can we place our values above our individual agenda and comfort? I believe that these conversations are crucial right now. Women's voices, particularly those of mature women, have traditionally gone under represented in the media, politics and across society in general. Although the focus of the day is on women over 40, this is an inclusive event for all women and includes a panel of 4 women in their 20s and 30s addressing how we elders can support the next generation of women. If you are able to attend this event, you can still get early bird tickets until midnight this Friday:) https://www.thehealingprocess.com.au/redefining-ageing-soci
