24.01.2022 When you create from your heart, it ignites a fire in you. What are you passionate about?

23.01.2022 This is why I love crocheting!

21.01.2022 Richelle has started a new business making clay creations. I set her a challenge to make me a yarn bowl. So proud of her as two more have gone in the kiln today. Hop over to summerfreckles.com.au and show her some https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=318060859020421&substory_index=0&id=266121614214346

21.01.2022 Christmas is less than 2 months away, so I have started making a Nativity scene. Something I have been wanting to do for a few years now. The start of something special Have you started planning for Christmas yet?

20.01.2022 Indeed! Today I am blessed with a go slow day, but won’t get to craft until after I’ve ticked things off my to do list

18.01.2022 I’ve just moved house. I’m afraid to look in those boxes!! But at least I have a craft room now!!

16.01.2022 Back to my happy place... after moving recently, I’ve only just found my hooks again. Making a market bag, now that most shops in our area aren’t supplying plastic bags, you need to bring your own (or pay to buy more plastic) One can never have too many bags to take shopping!

13.01.2022 When you are being creative, the busy-ness in our heads slows down. Whether is is counting and concentrating with crocheting or knitting or being in the moment with drawing or painting or listening to music it quiets our souls and helps calm the chaos. What do you like to do creatively? How do you calm the thoughts going through your mind?

13.01.2022 I don't often buy crochet patterns. But, I have been wanting to make a crochet nativity scene for a long time... After hours of searching, I found a pattern I really like. I wonder how many figures I will have time to make between now and Christmas? I will start with Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in the manager and go from there. I also bought the extended pattern with the wise men, Shepherds and Angel. Now to search my yarn stash and see if I have enough colours to get started.

12.01.2022 Sunshine Coast locals, book in now for a fantastic workshop in the comfort of your own home!

10.01.2022 A little bit of cuteness to start your Sunday!

08.01.2022 Update on Sarah's post earlier: decorative dishes have been made! It was interesting to see how the pattern turned out. Sarah had thoughtfully chosen a pattern with and good mix of detail and voids. That have come up beautifully. Next step is biscuit firing (or the first firing) and then I can glaze! Will show you more as they progress xx

06.01.2022 I love using this type of stitch marker, but I have never needed to use this many before!! Let's see how this round goes as I work into the marked stitches three rounds below.

05.01.2022 Working on a few different things today. One of them is this one of a kind, yarn bowl for my beautiful sister. Hope I don't break it like the first one

03.01.2022 Sale ends at midnight, any late nite shoppers around?

01.01.2022 As sisters, we often do things together. We are both crafty, but in different ways. So when Richelle asks me to make a crochet doily for her new found craft, who am I to say no... Stay tuned to see how Richelle is using the doily!
