04.01.2022 To our valued clients and potential clients, we are very proud of the services we offer and the extra efforts we go to to make the holiday care and grooming experience just that bit more special. We take our duty of care very seriously and to that end, we require that all dog clients, even if just attending for grooming, are up to date with their vaccinations and we ask for a copy of their certificate. There are regular outbreaks of Parvovirus in our area (this is often a h...otspot area for the disease) and dogs can be carriers without exhibiting signs, even when they are vaccinated, as the disease is spread and contracted via faeces on feet and fur as well as via simply sniffing the ground where infected faeces have been. Black and tan breeds are even more susceptible to contracting the disease. If a visiting dog is unvaccinated and carries parvovirus the disease can be spread even via vaccinated dogs. We will do everything within our power to prevent this happening via our property. We are certain that, if you love your dog enough to have it groomed, or taken care of when you take a holiday, you will understand that it's just as important to love them enough to have them fully vaccinated and to receive a booster every twelve months.
