25.01.2022 Sharing stories about Tassy & feeling blessed to entertain such a beautiful engaging audience tonight on the Spirit of Tasmania

25.01.2022 The first pioneer Creature Tales live music crew onboard Spirit of Tasmania 5 years ago. We miss you Tim very much.

23.01.2022 Saluting our Creature Tales crew on board Spirit of Tasmania. Rino Morea is a show. You shed whatever just happened and live in the moment. All sorts of people sway, jiggle or dance whether its night or daylight. It seems a natural thing to do. The audience quickly becomes one, whether clapping above their head, lip syncing or belting back the nostalgic choruses that have touched all of us at some time. The atmosphere is something like country hall dancing, hooping it up with the kin you love. Rinos genuine warmth sparkles right back at him from an audience that he adopts and they adopt him. His proud Tassie welcome with quips and travel tips literally feels like he has the keys to somewhere we cant wait to see. Currently on board Spirit of Tasmania 1 for two more dates and will return April 8th - 11th. Rino and Jade Morea

21.01.2022 Refreshing our about page and reminding our audience to be comforted by possibilities as we all reconstruct our stories and products in tourism, hospitality, community and cultural sectors.

20.01.2022 http://creaturetales.com.au/collaborators/ A stellar crew. Consider this list of talent for your next booking or project. Proud of our association and wish each and everyone the very best at this time.

19.01.2022 Best wishes from the Creature Tales team for 2020. Many thanks to all our crew and supporters. Stay curious and connected and well see you in the New Year!

18.01.2022 New day sailing entertainment promotion featuring our treasured crew. https://www.spiritoftasmania.com.au/onboard-exper//artists

17.01.2022 Creature Tales was proud to sponsor this Bushfire appeal for Blaze Aid where near on $1000.00 was raised. Brad Von Rock, Kate Von Rock, Henry Rippon, Claire Bindoff, Gavriil Bianski, LASCA DRY and artist Lyn Stares performed at The Social Tonic Club. A collaboration formed by Munnew Day Centre and Arts Health Agency

16.01.2022 Saluting our crew onboard Spirit of Tasmania. Bradley Von Rock. The passengers arrive to "Hi, where are you from..?" A story follows, theres introductions all round, more people arrive. A song comes to mind connected to the exchange and hes in his element. This is a night with Brad Von Rock. Everyone hears a song they know, perhaps tweak their itinerary to the cross traffic of audience banter and advice, local or travellers, and the line is blurred between audience and performer. Catch Brad for a memorable evening onboard tonight if youre sailing MEL-DEV Spirit of Tasmania on Deck 9.

15.01.2022 Saluting our Creature Tales crew onboard Spirit of Tasmania. Ms Wendy Moles flawed us with her Indigo Girls inspired rendition of Romeo and Juliet and after recently calling the N/W coast her home, she is delighting passengers onboard with Tassie infused nostalgia. Feels like a house concert with songs and storytelling and the thank you letters have started arriving. Often seen north or south of the island with the irrepressible Suffrajettes and did you catch one of the sold out shows at the Devonport Jazz Festival with Nick Hart?! If youre departing Devonport this Saturday night or Melbourne on Sunday, dont miss the show. Wow, what a voice. Ladies and Gentlemen...Ms Wendy Moles

15.01.2022 New financial year and the night sailing entertainment has welcomed fabulous new crew members. Travel on Spirit of Tasmania this winter and step into the Terrace Lounge for shows by Wendy Moles and Henry Rippon. Plus the wonderful regulars Thomas Mitchell, Bradley Von Rock, Sheyana, Jerome Hillier and Shasa Bolton.

15.01.2022 https://www.threatenedspecieslink.tas.gov.au/Pa/Search.aspx Celebrate the endemic and diverse flora and fauna in your patch this Threatened Species Day. Lucky.

14.01.2022 Tasmania has a story to tell. Creature Tales day sailing crew present our stories, our music onboard Spirit of Tasmania

13.01.2022 Salute to the fabulous artists Henry Rippon, Gavriil Bianski, LASCA DRY, Kate Von Rock, Brad Von Rock, Claire Bindoff and Lyn Stares performing the The Social Tonic Club show at yesterdays fundraising event. We did it! It just could not have gone any better in collaboration with Munnew Day Centre and Arts Health Agency. Full house of art, song and dance of the highest order. Thanks to Erin Cooper of ABC Northern Tasmania for attending the action and recording this story Starts just over 34 mins into yesterdays Drive program in this link.

13.01.2022 Great story from ABC Northern Tasmania with Burnie Primary School students learning of legendary Geoff King and indigenous culture with the excellent Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service Discovery Ranger Jye Crosswell

13.01.2022 Saluting our Creature Tales Crew on board Spirit of Tasmania. There are few musicians that totally disrupt the machinations of the here and now and escort you to another place that feels like the stars are dancing, the Tassie bush campfire is crackling and all is well. This seems even more unlikely on a busy passenger ship, yet the lyrical storytelling and musicianship of Thomas Mitchell steals our attention. ABC Hobart hailed Thomas as a top 5 music gig highlight last year a...fter being seen by a reviewer as he performed on Spirit of Tasmania. Its no surprise to see that Falls Festival and Cygnet Folk Festival have him on the bill. Playing currently alongside Creature Tales crew Andy Kent Trudgian, Ciara Thorburn, Caros Face and Body Painting and Hope Green in The Terrace Lounge Bar until the 23rd of DEC and scheduled to return this 2020. Enjoy! See more

13.01.2022 The excellent Yvonne Gluyas on board Spirit of Tasmania this week-end

12.01.2022 To all Spirit travellers and Sheyana fans, check out the new single and visit The Sheyana Band website.

11.01.2022 Re: Johnny Cash So in my show on the Spirit, I often tell a story of the time Johnny Cash played at The Devonport Football Ground & no one came to see him play..., about 30-40 people & he gave the promoter back his money @ the airport, so the story goes. I had a Devonport old timer, that was adamant this never happened the other night... Well, it appears it did on the 23/05/73. Below is Johnny Cashs official tour history & it says East Devonport... haha I also found some articles saying he also played in Burnie too... but not reflected in his tour logs... Does anyone know any photos, facts, details about this tour, I need to flesh out my bit, & would love to know any information about what actually happened. Tnx. See more

01.01.2022 The kind of moments that words cant do justice to. Ship entertainment in the moment where wonderful just happens.... with Bradley Von Rock. Yes indeed.

01.01.2022 Recently Creature Tales have been developing new ideas for our Arts & Entertainment day sailing program on board Spirit of Tasmania. Two roving art carts that would add curiosity and nostalgia. Thanks to Shasa Bolton of Contraption Cart, we are roving all decks and turning heads as we like to do.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPhG3rX2wu8&feature=youtu.be
