25.01.2022 Hi all, ECDA AGM is on 19th March 2021. If you are a current member, you will need to renew before 28th February 2021 and if you are not a current member and want to have a say at the AGM please print, fill out form and sign, scan or photograph and send to the email at the bottom of the form and pay online (details at the bottom of the form attached) before the next monthly meeting which is 19th FEB 2021 to be approved at this meeting. 21.01.2022 Roadworks - Mackay Eungella Road, Eungella Range Maintenance activities will be undertaken on Mackay Eungella Road at Devil's Elbow from Monday 30 November 2020 to Friday 11 December 2020 between 6am and 6pm. Please expect intermittent delays of up to 15 minutes.... This work will occur from Monday to Saturday with some Sunday work scheduled. Lane closures and speed reductions will be in place. 21.01.2022 Very exciting news, tenders for the Crediton Hall renovation Stage 1 have just been called. Prior to this, other steps have been achieved: Engineering Design completed and received... Architectural Design completed and received Detailed Scope of Works completed Energy Efficiency Assessment completed and energy efficiency certificate received Waterproofing material applied to incomplete hall wall Removal of Bonded asbestos in shower and toilet rooms. Removal of bonded asbestos verandah. Asbestos Register Updated. Survey Plan corrections - Review information relating to location of boundaries, Redraw boundaries and re issue plans Asbestos Register Updated. Geotech Classification completed: Mobilisation; Site Classification, Waste System Design, Percolation Test, Underground Locating Services CHRC have been very blessed that our Project Manager Dan Passfield, of DT Building Services has very kindly donated all his considerable time and expertise to Manage the project, and whilst we all went into lockdown, Dan continued to work hard behind the scenes, and has kept the Renovations progressing throughout. For those that haven't yet met Dan, Dan’s father went to school at Crediton in the 1950’s, and Dan, Tracey and family live up the road from the Hall. Dan also secured Free Engineering Design and Architectural Design which has saved CHRC significant costs. 18.01.2022 Very proud of our community, an exhibition showcasing arts and emergency preparedness projects by the communities impacted by recent disaster events, including Eungella's 2018 bushfires, and featuring artwork by our Eungella school students and wider community, is coming to Gordon White Library, Mackay. The community is invited to the launch event, tomorrow (February 4) at 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

14.01.2022 A huge congratulations to locals Jolene Robinson, Lisa Roebig Holmes, and the Mackay Regional Council Community Recovery Project Team including Wanda, Helen and Elissa, for last night's opening of the 'Disaster Recovery and Resilience Exhibition' at the Gordon White Library. It was an amazing experience for 3 of our local Eungella State School students who helped set up their display, proudly showed off their artwork to guests, and talked about their creations. Such an amazing opportunity for our remote students, highly recommend everyone take a look, especially the kids who were involved, they were so thrilled by the process, and a bonus was the kid's corner at the Library, a big thanks to the Mackay Regional Council Libraries for their patience . The Exhibition runs until March 2nd.

13.01.2022 Crediton Hall Campgrounds has had a long-overdue makeover today our apologies to our visitors that have braved the tall seasonal grass 'Setaria'. A lack of volunteers, and an abundance of rainfall, overtook us. There is now plenty of flat, mown areas around our power-posts, toilet block, information sign, and BBQ shelters, a firepit, and a beautiful sea of Setaria flowers around the boundary... so please re-connect with Crediton Hall Campground, and enjoy the most beautiful season to be in the 'Land of the Clouds'.
