23.01.2022 For some reason, a friend managed to track down an episode of the ABC's Big Country series when i rode a horse over 10 days in 39 degree temperatures. We shot it on film of course, and it was lovely to see how we did things in those days. I never rode a horse again. 21.01.2022 Through a new client I’ve learned that buildings- all buildings - emit 38%of all CO2 emissions. Using the lowest emitting materials in early construction gets rid of at least 11% of embedded carbon. Who knew? Sensible designers are onto it so ask them questions if you’re building or renovating.

07.01.2022 The last election showed us that Australians young and old are really worried about climate change. So, to get some clarity into it, let's stop talking about global warming forever. Climate change is actually responsible for extreme weather events, not just a warmer climate, and we're seeing more of them. The various policies about carbon credits confused many, and it is indeed a dense subject. But here's a thought - let's talk about sequestration instead. 02.01.2022 Of all times, clear communication from our leaders is crucial. So much confusion can be solved by good messaging. People like me - and so many others - can do a great deal of good by helping leaders, federal, state and local, to inform their communities. Public relations often gets a bad rap - "spin doctors" etc - but boy, do our leaders need them at this time.
