25.01.2022 Dropped off two of our return campers to their beloved second home for a 3 week stint.... Lady Musgrave Island . Then it was off to the lagoon for a snorkel with a family of four from Mt Tambourine. There were manta rays, whales and lots and lots of turtles! They loved it so much, they're coming back next year to camp! Caught dinner on the way home, which topped off the day

24.01.2022 This family had a great time today snorkelling off our boat BULLETPROOF in the Lady Musgrave lagoon. Our mooring is smack bang in the middle of three coral bombies all a bit different from the other. After lunch we went on to have a fish and it didn’t disappoint! 23.01.2022 It was a bit rough to do the combined fish/snorkel charter for these friends, so option 2 was Pancake Creek. First stop was aeroplane beach for a swim and a walk up to the Bustard Bay Lighthouse. Visited the graveyard just below the lighthouse on way back. There would be some interesting stories behind those headstones. We then ventured on to Pancake Creek and went snorkelling on the amazing reef there. 22.01.2022 Was a bit swelly getting over the entrance of the creek this morning and a bit of a bumpy trip to Lady Musgrave Island for a couple of campers. Saw whales as we were nearing the island , no sooner our campers got away on their dinghy and we were loading up 4 more to come home. 20.01.2022 Took a family of 4 and 2 couples out to Lady Musgrave Island today. Saw a unique coral garden made by campers no doubt! Discovered some turtle tracks on the south side of the island that indicated the turtle didn’t like that part of the beach and did a U turn! Then we were lucky enough to have Marcus (who was camping on the island) to do an informative guided island tour for our guests. 14.01.2022 Took some locals out for a snorkel at Fairfax Island to start with. So many fish in the gutters between the coral reefs, absolutely stunning! With the tide getting lower we went off to Lady Musgrave lagoon for some more snorkelling. We were a bit more protected in there from what swell there was, so the water was even clearer. Even though it rained, the lagoon was so calm and the colours were vibrant in the corals. 13.01.2022 Had a big load up this morning for these campers....7 all up! Kuno, Mick and Yana and family stayed on the island for 3 weeks while friends and family came and went. The girls were discovering new animals all the time and loved visiting the red hermit crabs at night. Mick caught a horse of a mackerel which fed everyone for a couple of days. Lots of whales, mantas and turtles see you next year guys!

12.01.2022 We took a couple of families out to Fitzroy for snorkel and a fish today. Was interesting going to an alternate coral reef and seeing different corals. The lagoon was a glassoff and after snorkelling the kids did a few bombies off the boat then it was off to catch fish for dinner. Once that was achieved we came back in for more snorkelling on a different reef in the lagoon. Everyone was worn out by the end of the day.....good sign !

10.01.2022 Twas another stunning day out at Lady Musgrave today for these 2 families. The water was a balmy 27 degrees and the visibility great. The turtle researchers got into the xmas spirit and decorated their campsite. Their were turtle tracks and nests everywhere and also saw a lot of broken turtle eggs on the tideline of the beach. We picked up our campers who'd stayed on the island for a week. Rowan was the hunter and gatherer and caught fish for dinner each night. ... 02.01.2022 There was fog in the air this morning when we took my fellow dragon boat mate Marjy and her family out to Lady Musgrave. It was beautiful on the island with more noddy terns migrating in.
