16.01.2022 Creekbend was the location this morning for a Memory Lounge event, thanks to a collaboration between Griffith Uni, Qld State Archives & Kilkivan & District Community Care Association. A group of 14 Kilkivan seniors enjoyed a cuppa with 8 Griffith Uni students who used archival photos as a way of connecting with each other. Thanks so much to Assoc. Professor Catherine Dhavernas for coordinating this special event - her effort to support enriching ageing in place activities is much appreciated.
