14.01.2022 We decided to advertise for a new stock manager. After an influx of adorable sibling competition, we decided "Jock" would fit in beautifully. Jock is regretting lieing on his resume.... He looks a bit worried while being given the farm tour today

13.01.2022 This beautiful 10yr old Angus named Dorris, has been with us all her life. She calves down alone under the same tree every year without any troubles at all. She is an amazing cow

13.01.2022 Your not seeing double thats overflow measurement I haven't posted this before now, because when it comes to rain I'm superstitious as heck... I never allow myself to get excited, I always hang washing out,... Washing the car only happens when its forecast and I made sure I irrigated a little, to be sure it all came true. A GLORIOUS 40.5mm here over 24hrs. We will be having a tin or two today to celebrate

12.01.2022 Its calving time and I love seeing the new babies. Its also nice to see how last years calves are growing out

12.01.2022 F1 Speckle/Angus heifer Nearly 8 weeks old and solid as a brick house

11.01.2022 The Big Guy is very happy to be back at work Tiama Murphy's Law M11 * Edit...... Iv been asked privately his breeding. Murphy has some big names in his family tree such as Spot and Sprouts Stands alone and River Hill Traffic Jam. I'll post his pedigree in the comments for those who are curious. Murphy is NOT for sale, but we will have some of his sons available to purchase soon. We are retaining all his heifers. See more

10.01.2022 What a difference 12 months makes. Same paddock, about 12 months apart. 2020 is responsible for alot of negativity and heart ache... But with 107.5mm this year, we are certainly enjoying the rain that has been so scares for the previous last 4 yrs.

10.01.2022 Cayuse Nancy N17 is looking rather...full. And judging by the rest of her she isn't calving for a little while yet. She is in calf to Tiama Murphy's Law M11 and I'm looking forward to seeing what these two produce. Are there 2 babies in their miss Nancy?

09.01.2022 Creek View Quick Draw Q01 At only 14 months old, Quick Draw looks like he will have all the same great qualities as his Sire. By Tiama Murphy's Law M11 Out of Black Diamond Nerida N96

05.01.2022 Friday chilling with a few heifers Gee...Speckles are so wild watch till the end

04.01.2022 Im usually talking about how good the Speckles are to breed, keep and work. Quiet, calm, good doers, maternal, quick growing, highly fertile...the list goes on. But honestly, at the end of the day, the most important factor is, they taste amazing ... This is a 12 month old Bull weaner that didn't make the grade for commercial herd breeding. I have high expectations, and he was a little bit grumpy

03.01.2022 "Creek View Quiet Achiever" She has certainly been achieving things quietly At just 15 months old, you can see what she is growing into.... Dam - Snowline Elizabeth J12 Sire - Tiama Murphy's Law M11

02.01.2022 We got our family holiday dropped off over the weekend #justraindamit

02.01.2022 We would like to congratulate and thank Matt from Black Oak Speckle Park on breeding such a high quality young bull. Black Oak Qualified Q15 is an eye catching bull who ticks all the right box's. Thick, correct and calm with genetics that are proven. We have quietly been looking for a bull who meets our long list of requirements and we finally found him.... An Underhill All Out 1D son and from a strong yet feminine line of maternal cows, we believe this young bull will mark his progeny with the same correct confirmation and temperament as we see in him. Black Oak Qualified Q15 will cover our home bred stud females, as well as some of our Black Angus to continue to show the commercial value of this highly diverse breed. Welcome to the team BOS Q15

01.01.2022 There’s always one !
