15.01.2022 BEACH RESTRICTIONS UPDATE Council beaches remain open for locals, however recent NSW government legislation only allows people to be on the beach if they are do...ing some form of exercise. Going for a swim or surf or walking is currently permitted provided social distancing is maintained. Those who are on the beach sun baking, sitting or gathering to socialise will be asked to move on. Individuals may also be asked for ID to confirm they are local residents. Should excessive numbers of people gather on local beaches, then the NSW Police may enforce Public Health Order restrictions where breached and further controls may be required. Please do the right thing, especially this Easter weekend, respect public health orders, stay home and only leave the house if you need to.
