We are actively monitoring the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and would like to assure you that we have procedures in place to manage the issue as best we can. Crestmead Dental is focused on ensuring patients continue to receive oral care and dental treatment during this time, in accordance with guidelines given by the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and government. ... We will continue to service patients that have outstanding treatment or require dental treatment; however all non critical appointments will be rescheduled for 2+ months. That includes the following: Professional scale and cleans Consultations Fissure sealants During this time we would like to share with you various precautions and recommendations to help ensure that you, and those around you, stay healthy. Our clinic provides hand sanitiser at reception, for patient use. Wipes are also available for patients to utilize to wipe over phones and surroundings. All front office surfaces are disinfected regularly throughout the day. All patients will be asked to rinse with an antiseptic rinse before treatment. We may advise patients to wait in their car or outside during any high traffic times of days. Please avoid bringing additional persons to your dental appointment e.g. if you have a family only bring the person we are treating on the day. Crestmead Dental has always had high standards with infection control; however we continue to put extra measures in place to keep our staff and patients healthy. As the situation is rapidly changing we will continue to closely monitor the guidelines that we receive, please note that this may cause the above information to change. 12.01.2022 Dear Patients, As we continue to monitor the Coronavirus crisis and follow guidance from the Australian Dental Association there will be a change in our trading hours as well as the criteria for patient appointments. To keep our staff, patients and the general community safe as of Monday 30 March 2020 we will be only seeing emergency appointments. Emergency appointments will consist of some of the following:... Uncontrolled bleeding Facial swelling Facial trauma Significant dental pain Localised infection (abscess, periocoronitis, acute apical infection) Tooth fracture involving the pulp Significant dental trauma Medically necessary dental treatment (ie. prior to medical/surgical procedures) During these times our trading hours will also change, these hours will go into effect on Monday 30 March, please note that as we may be open during these times a dentist may not be available: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:00 am 1:00 pm Tuesday & Thursday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm One of our lovely staff members will be in contact with any patients that currently have appointments with us, if they do not fit the above criteria we will be looking to reschedule the appointment. What does this mean? It means that we are able to see patients for all dental treatment including preventative and routine treatment. Crestmead Dental is focused on ensuring patients continue to receive oral care and all dental treatment during this time as well as doing our part to continue to flatten the... curve. Our clinic provides hand sanitiser at reception, for patient use. Please note that while our restrictions are being lifted, we are still adhering to the social distancing rule and may advise patients to wait in their car or outside during any high traffic times of days. 02.01.2022 Dear Valued Community, It has certainly been a turbulent time in the past month with the constantly evolving coronavirus situation! At Crestmead Dental we have been monitoring closely advice from the Health Departments and the Australian Dental Association. We continue to maintain our existing stringent infection control procedures, have included additional infection control protocols, patient & staff screening and social distancing measures. We would like to say thank you to... all of our patients for your understanding, co-operation and patience during these difficult times. We are pleased to announce WE ARE BACK! As of Monday 27th April,we now on level 2 dental restrictions on the advice of the Australian Dental Association and Australian Health Protection Principal Committee. What does this mean? There are more treatment procedures we can now perform, as delaying dental treatment can result in negative health and dental health outcomes. There are still some procedures that are restricted, call our friendly team if you want clarification if your procedure is eligible. Examples of what we can do: - Emergency appointments - Broken teeth - Simple extractions / tooth removal - Fillings and restorative procedures (with the use of rubber dam) - Examinations - Denture Appointments -Orthodontic reviews We understand that there has been a lot changes and things can be more difficult for everyone during these times. To help assist we are happy to announce our COVID19 care packages: -We continue to bulk bill eligible children under the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (Medicare) -Children not covered by the Child Dental Benefits Scheme will receive 20% off our normal adult prices, provided their appointment is booked with our Oral Health Therapist (Rose) -The emergency consultation fee of $50 will be waived if treatment is performed on the same day (does not apply to government vouchers, CDBS or DVA) -A FREE comprehensive examination (usually $69) if treatment or radiographs are performed on the same day. If you would like to access this offer, please let us know ahead as we will need to ensure we have adequate time for a COMPREHENSIVE examination. -Extractions are capped at a maximum of $270. Please note difficult surgical extractions are currently contraindicated under level 2 restrictions. If we are unable to remove the tooth due to these restrictions, we can still take out the nerve and place a palliative restoration to help with pain relief. This procedure will also be capped at $270 (usually $407) If you need to spread out your payments for treatment, we accept afterpay and zip-pay.
