20.01.2022 JUNIOR training begins WEDNESDAY February 20th! Sorry for the confusion surrounding what night our Junior teams will train. We were hoping as a Club to be able to align our training night's with our seniors but unfortunately it seems that Thursday's especially is the night that everything from footy through to dance practice is also on and we don't won't to create a further situation of having to choose between activities so have made the decision to revert back to our usual Wednesday junior training night. So, on that note, good luck with the back to school starts and we will see you in just a few weeks time

12.01.2022 Junior competitive age training will start on Wednesday 4 March at 6.00 pm at the Doug Lindsay Reserve. Whilst we’re confident of having teams play in the Under 12 and Under 13 competitions, fielding an Under 14 team or above is dependent on numbers. Mini-roos (Under 11’s and below) will start two weeks later on Wednesday 18 March from 4.30pm.... Please note the season proper is scheduled to start after the Easter holidays on Sunday 19 April 2020.

07.01.2022 Good Afternoon everyone, After some deliberation the committee has come to the decision to cancel the season launch this weekend. With the health and wellbeing of all our members our main priority, it is best to remove any risk by cancelling the event. It is with great regret as it would have been a great day for the club to all get together as one. At this stage the normal season will be going ahead with no changes from the BDSA yet. ... For those that do not have easy access to register or may need assistance with this, we will still have people at Doug Lindsay Reserve between 11:00AM and 2:00PM on Sunday to assist with any needs. If you do need to attend, we ask that you come alone or only with those essential to registering. The senior men’s practice match is still scheduled to kick off at 2:00PM but we request no spectators be present. FFA and FV have confirmed that grassroots football may be played at this time in line with Government advice, but additional measures implemented to further reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection or transmission through the football community, including recommended hygiene measures and appropriate social distancing at football matches. These measures require that only people essential to the operation of training and matches be in attendance. This would include players, coaches, match and club officials. For junior teams we understand that this will at times include parents and carers however we highly encourage social distancing and recommended levels of personal hygiene where such attendance is required. For any more information or any questions don’t hesitate to send me a message or ask me if you see me. Thanks, Damien Saw Club President

06.01.2022 We need your vote, please! We got through to the voting stage of the 'Pick my project' grant process soooooo WE NEED YOUR VOTE. We have applied for some funding for fencing, ... this upgrade would have numerous positive community benefits. Whilst it would significantly improve organised training sessions and matches by keeping soccer balls in the arena, it also has broader community benefit as the pitch is available to all community members for informal use. The project also has an important safety benefit by reducing the need for junior players to retrieve soccer balls from designated car parking areas and local scrub land. If you would like to help us, please click on the link below and give us a vote, you can vote for 3 projects. https://pickmyproject.vic.gov.au//new-junior-soccer-pitch-
