17.01.2022 Norman Lindsay's model of HM Bark Endeavour The model of Endeavour, Norman Lindsay's first ship model, was purchased by the National Gallery of Victoria for 100. It is now in the collection of Melbourne Museum. Creswick Museum had it on display during The Magic Pudding Exhibition.

13.01.2022 NOTICE As a precautionary measure amid the Coronavirus outbreak Creswick Museum is temporary closing both sites (Town Hall and Research Centre) until further notice. The decision has been made to ensure the health and wellbeing of our volunteers and the wider community. At this stage the Committee has not decided on a re-opening date but when a decision is made will post it on this site.

12.01.2022 COUNCIL TABLE Restoration of the cedar table in the Council Chamber has started. The removal of the centre table legs resulted in the top bowing and further damage to one side of the table. Stage 1 covers the replacing the legs; opening and replacing the missing drawer knobs; researching the top of the table. Originally the top was covered with leather but at some stage removed and replaced with plywood. Restoration of the top will be Stage 2. We thank the Shire for their support with this project.
