24.01.2022 Another misty morning at the cemetery. Ready for some work.

21.01.2022 Creswick Cemetery

20.01.2022 A bit wet at the cemetery today. Please be careful walking around, the ground is soft and slippery.

19.01.2022 Just finished today, a lovely seat in memory of a loving daughter by her family. A much needed addition and a wonderful memorial.

19.01.2022 Please be aware that - FUNERALS MAY BE AFFECTED DURING THE UPCOMING FIRE SEASON (Cemeteries & Crematoria Association of Victoria)... CCAV wish to reminder cemetery trusts that burials on days of high fire risk may be postponed this upcoming fire season. In guidelines developed with Victoria’s fire agencies, the CCAV recommends that cemeteries situated in high risk fire locations conduct a risk assessment of their cemetery, develop a Fire Management Plan and if necessary, consider postponing burials on declared Severe, Extreme and Code Red days, in the interest of community safety. This recommendation, which has the support of the Australian Funeral Directors Association, builds on advice formulated by Victoria’s fire agencies for events scheduled on Total Fire Ban days.

15.01.2022 Our roses are starting to look magnificent.

13.01.2022 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to families and visitors to Creswick Cemetery. Please remember to follow Covid rules and keep safe.

11.01.2022 Whoever put their household rubbish in the cemetery bin, you can take it back thanks. We are not the tip and use that bin for our own rubbish. Absolutely disgusted.

10.01.2022 Please keep in mind the current restrictions around visiting the cemetery and attending a funeral during the current COVID 19 restrictions on Regional Victoria. From Wednesday 28 October: *Attendance at funerals will increase to 50 people if held outdoors, excluding funeral directors, support staff and children under one year old.... *When visiting the cemetery remember that outdoor gatherings will be limited to ten people, children under one year of age are not counted in this limit. Thank you for your understanding. Let’s keep up the good work!

05.01.2022 I cannot believe some people!! Got a call today as a chap visiting his wife saw two ladies metal detecting and digging amongst the graves!! Seriously, what a disgrace. I flew up and had a good talking to them both and asked them to put the detector away or I would fine them. Not Happy!! They thought there was nothing wrong with what they were doing!!! REALLY!!!

02.01.2022 Thank you Hepburn Shire for our Give way sign. Looks good. Line marking to come. Well done.
