24.01.2022 An exciting day for Creswick Primary School on Monday when our much loved Ollie returns. Ollie was such a big part of our community for 15 months as we raised him to be ready for Seeing Eye Dog training. Ollie completed his training and passed like a superstar Unfortunately due to a small medical issue he is unable to be matched with a client. SEDA kindly offered Ollie back to us for adoption which of course we said yes to. We are all very excited to have him back and I know he will make an amazing difference to so many little lives

15.01.2022 Things will look a little different at school from Monday. There'll be some super heroes on site. Teachers and education support staff will not be required to wear face coverings while teaching, but those who wish to do so, can. Teachers will wear face coverings in other areas of the school when not teaching (for example, in the staffroom, on yard duty and when providing first aid), and when travelling to and from school. Students who attend school will not be required to we...ar a face covering. Students who are aged 12 or over by Year 6 will not be required to wear face coverings. The Victorian Chief Health Officer has advised that it is not practical to require some primary school students to wear face coverings while others are not required to. Some students and staff are exempt from these requirements. This includes students or staff who have a medical condition - including problems with their breathing, a serious skin condition on the face, a disability or a mental health condition. Parents and carers will be required to wear face coverings whenever they leave the house, including for school drop off and pick up. If they are travelling in a car alone, or only with members of their household, they do not need to wear a mask. For further information, please go to the DHHS Coronavirus website: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus Stay safe, everyone, and be a super hero. For yourself. For your kids. For your extended family. For your friends. For your neighbours. For our school. For our community.
