25.01.2022 GREYHOUND DAY POSTPONED The safety of our community is the most important and due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, community events will need to be postponed until a later date. Those that were registered will receive an email from Council and be provided an opportunity at a later date when it is safe to do so. Until then - zoomies in the backyard it is! Be safe and best wishes from Bean and I

03.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS! The City of Port Adelaide Enfield’s first ever 'Greyhound Off-Leash' event will be held on 22nd November 2020 at LJ Lewis Dog Park in Northfield! I'm very pleased to see my Council Motion from April 2019 coming to life. After a difficult year with COVID-19 and the Dog and Cat Management Board implementing many guidelines and safety measures for these events, PAE has been approved to hold one of our own. By law, greyhounds can only exercise off-leash on pri...vate property; there are no public areas in metropolitan Adelaide, including designated off-leash areas and dog parks, where they are permitted to run free. Greyhound owners who live in the City of PAE have the opportunity to book one of three 45 minute sessions starting at 9.30am, with a maximum number of 15 greyhounds per session. Retired and adopted greyhounds that have a muzzle exemption from the Dog and Cat Management Board or GAP SA are allowed to attend, however racing greyhounds, foster greyhounds, mix breeds and greyhounds without a muzzle exemption are not. REGISTER NOW, before thsi FREE event books out! ---> https://www.cityofpae.sa.gov.au//media-hub/l/greyhound-day Bean and I look forward to seeing you there! Greyhound Adoption Program SA
