23.01.2022 Congratulations to the following girls selected in our Gold Coast Representative teams for 2020/21. We had 30 girls from five clubs represented from across the Coast, making it our largest rep trial to-date. The girls will play teams from the Darling Downs, Metro South-West and SEQ with our U15s girls vying for selection in the Southern Blaze Mega Region team. Many thanks to Belinda McDougall and Richard Griffiths for their tireless work in assisting with coaching throughout ...the representative pre-season. Also a thank you to Gareth Roberts from Runaway Bay who continues to be one of the biggest supporters of girls cricket and who has once again volunteered to coach at the U13 level. A Zane Beattie half century (54) proving the difference between the two sides. Mudgeeraba Nerang & Districts CC consolidated 2nd place heading into the break with their win against Helensvale Pacific Pines Hawks Cricket Club. The Hawks set Mudgee 175 for v...ictory after Sean Snyder compiled an unbeaten run a ball 82 however a 143 run opening stand between Kevin Chapman (53) and Howard Biddle (81) ensured the Bushman took the points. Broadbeach Robina Cricket Club held 4th place on the ladder moving into Xmas with victory over South Tweed Colts Cricket Club. Colts set the Cats 165 for victory with 73 to Joel Thompson, however the Cats chased down the total in the 30th over with half centuries to Trent Keep (63) and Kyle Brockley (54). In other results, Nathan Reardon again proved his class with 4/11 and 68 in Surfers Paradise Cricket Club win over Coomera Hope Island Cricket Club. 07.01.2022 The QLD over 50s Grand Final for the 3rd year in a row is Brisbane v Gold Coast. Both sides went through bit of a transformation combining 2 div 1 sides into a single team. Brisbane have won the past 2 finals and will be more than difficult to beat again, but the GC has managed to complete the 5 round games undefeated. This match will be high quality and should be a cracking game. The side are playing for the Gill Chapman Shield. GO THE GOLD COAST THUNDER

Robinson also played 12 games for Queensland and was a prolific run scorer for the Gold Coast Dolphins. Andrew Robinson in 2004.... 2. KEVIN CHAPMAN Mudgeeraba: Chapman won the 2009-10 Cricket Gold Coast first grade competition with Mudgeeraba Nerang & Districts. Chapman was also named in the Bulletins Kookaburra Cup 2019-20 Team of the Season after making his return to the club after a season with the Gold Coast Dolphins, the veteran made a competition-high 651 runs at 59.18 including three tons and three half-centuries to go with 16 valuable wickets at 12.25. 01.01.2022 Hello All. Please see below all relevant information regarding Junior Girls Rep Trials for the 2020 season. Please be advised that games will begin as early as Sunday Sept 6, the weekend following the trials. Given the disruption to the regular rep season due to Covid 19, regional coaches, in conjunction with QC, have decided that all Southern Regions will play each other in a round robin format this year, allowing the girls to get much more rep cricket exposure than ever before.
