25.01.2022 Though the figure on the Two of Wands stands holding the world in his hand, he casts his gaze over the vast lands appearing to wonder what could he achieve next. Next. Next? He holds the World in the palm of his hand yet he wants to see what more comes next. Our culture is full of people who, despite having lives packed with blessings, are always planning what to claim, accomplish, acquire, conquer . . . next. ... Rather than being happy, feeling happy, we become obsessed in its pursuit. Though we claim we want happiness our actions ensure it will always be out of reach. If we just stopped the chasing, soaked in the moment and stood still in the now, we’d stand the chance of realising we already hold happiness in our own hand. Have a weekend blessed with love, relaxation, and happiness! Talk soon, bek xxxx
24.01.2022 Today we are greeted by Major Arcana IV, The Emperor. So commonly cards of the Tarot are either engaging or trying to engage our spirituality in one way or another. With The Emperor we find something quite different, a message of calm rationalism over intuition, of level headed analysis over emotional reaction.... Quite often this card relates directly to the law, the power of society, its power to enforce its laws. Whether a negative or positive reference depends on the cards context. It can be referring, as I believe it is in todays context, to a time of stability and order. Never before, at least in this lifetime, have I had a time, as Im sure it is for most of us, when Ive needed to entrust our societal leaders with the care of mine and my familys well-being. Im glad to see the Emperor as some reinforcement, some assurity that my, that our, trust is well guided. For me it is very much appreciated. Love and health to you all. Speak again soon, bek xxxx
24.01.2022 We can all relate to the figure, either directly of indirectly, on the Ten of Wands, having ended up with more on his plate than he can chew. The first thing to wonder is what misfortune has lead to this sorry situation, that we cant help feeling sympathetic about. The fact is this figure represents someone who has actually, as cold as it might sound, brought it all on themselves. ... They are of the Wands suit, always eager for action, adventure, to get involved in the next new thing, which they do without thought for consequence. Wands, Fire energy, acts without thinking. Always wanting to take on risks just for the adventure, without seeing one thing through before diving into the next. One day a snap of reality brings the realisation of being burdened under a pile of problems. I feel today this card brings a message about chilling out, these are tough times people! So what if the house is a little messy, you dont pay bills until your final reminder, or youre not completely on top of the kids brushing their teeth properly or making their beds daily? These sorts of things in the scheme of matters are not worth stressing about. Take it easy on yourself. This is not a time for sweating the small stuff. Let it go. Have a blessed, happy, healthy Wednesday. We will talk again soon. bek xxxx
24.01.2022 A pretty cool card this - one weve seen here a number of times - with some good symbolism and a potential multitude of meanings in readings. It depicts an act of generosity - a wealthier individual giving to those less fortunate. With one figure standing over others who kneel it shows a situation of hierarchy, of dominance over submission.... The inclusion of the scales suggest, that though there is inequality, its acceptable to all involved. I can recall this card popping up very early in the days of the pandemic. Nobody knew what was going on, what was about to unfold, and we could/should do to stay safe as it did. We had no choice but to look toward our leaders, as they did indeed do what they could to keep us safe. We had to trust in the hierarchy, be submissive to dominance, but we were happy for it. But this card can represent more nefarious situations, wherein there may be abuse; the domineering party, having manipulated the submissive into believing they are getting what they deserve. A less extreme representation is of a life lived according to keeping the status quo - a job, a partner, that brings no joy, but provides just enough satisfaction to dissuade motivation to risk pursuing something more. Wishing all a happy, healthy Tuesday. Will talk again soon. Much love to you all. Blessings, bek xxxx
22.01.2022 The Knight of Cups - always conjures up for me that adolescent male or young man who, though he can drive you to exasperation, you just cant help but love and forgive . . . again. This Knight is nothing but well meaning, but with his head constantly in the clouds he rarely gets close enough to the ground where he needs to set his ideals in motion. I always sense a gentle, romantic soul having spent hours writing then reciting to you the most beautiful of poetry, having not t...ouched the laundry, and vacuuming youd tasked him with! Overall, outside relating to a romance in a personal read, the Knight brings the message to take your focus off dreams, and imagination, and turn them into action. Though it may be a time where retreat into self, and couldsshouldsmights seem more appealing than tackling the task at hand, this card is here to say that kind of time is up. Wishing all of you the best Monday possible and sending you love, happiness, and blessings. bek xxxx
22.01.2022 I struggled when learning the Tarot to understand how these cards differed. Each represented the ability to overcome difficulty, to prevail over opposition, to rise above adversity. The key was in learning the stage of development each card represents as part of The Fool’s Journey. Where the Chariot symbolises ultimate force of human will to win, and overt power to succeed, Strength regards an inner state, more refined, composed and calm.... Strength goes beyond the human state of focus, confidence, and wilful personality of the Chariot. Central to Strength is faith, faith in the Divine to provide what is needed to overcome adversity without anxiety, doubt, or fear. The Fool will encounter each of these states of being, plus nineteen more, on his journey to enlightenment - all twenty two cards of the Major Arcana. Happy Monday everyone! Talk soon. Love lots, bek xxxx
22.01.2022 Its not at all unusual to get the same or similar cards when going through a stretch of time when things remain, in a very general sense, unchanged. Its the reason, I, and I know other readers too, wont read for the same person, about the same issue, unless time had passed or something significant has changed. As I do these daily reads, I do them for us here, at least those of us looking for some guidance on that day.... So, we see the Eight of Pentacles, weve seen him before - the man so engrossed in his work he notices nothing much else. Could he be overdoing it? Anyone say, workaholic? The little warning contained is not too become so caught up you forget the real life things going on around you. He needs, in other words, to stay grounded, not consumed by his actions, his creativity, his productivity that he forgets what it is hes doing it for - time to move on perhaps. Interesting to me, is that Wednesdays card, the Eight of Wands, had almost the very same message, flipped the other way round. On Wednesday we saw the Eight of Wands - suit of fire, action, creativity - speeding toward the ground. Its message was about grounding, the actualisation of engrossing work - a message to not lose sight of a goal in dreams and imagination, remember what you were creating for. I read it as Wands uniting with Pentacles energy, that is to be of the physical, the real, the material. Today, its the other way round, Pentacles- work, things being made of the material world needing some Wands fiery action and movement, time to get the nose off the same grindstone. Take a risk with something, maybe? The essence of these opposing, yet similar reads, is about not going to and staying in extremes. Some middle ground might be in order. Just maybe . . . I blow you all a kiss bye-bye as we again head into another weekend. May yours be blessed with love, health, and peace. Talk soon, bek xxxx
21.01.2022 We start the week with a card relative to so many peoples situation today. It is the Nine of Wands. The image of this Nine is enough for people to take one look, and think, More to battle? More wounds to nurse and injuries to carry? No thank you! But this is a card where we really need to examine what were being shown.... Yes, this is an embattled person, he has been through the wars, but, looking more closely, this man is not as badly off as he first appears. He has come through his battle and is now on the other side of it. And see those Wands behind him? They sprout all over with new opportunity, possibly due to his new normal he will have to adjust to - the legacy of the war he has survived. The biggest thing I notice is that at first glance the figure looks beaten up, but really, he stands tall and strong. Looking more closely still, he actually has no wounds or visible injuries, except for his bandaged head. Rather than a physical wound this bandage, and its placement on the head, is most likely indicative of psychic or spiritual injury. This man has been so focussed on physical battle, perhaps witnessed awful things, that have damaged him in a spiritual way. Moving forward, it is his spirit, and his spiritually that will tending to, and healing. Notice also, his Wand, his support, also stands strong and tall, sprouting its own promise of new opportunity. Wishing you wellness and peace and a great new week. Love to all, bek xxxx
21.01.2022 Maybe there’s some of you with your own pages who can relate to this. I’m constantly ‘prompted’ by this social media platform to pay to circulate my posts. I don’t pay, my post circulation is dwindling. Sometimes I want to give up, knowing my posts reach but a fraction of this page’s followers. Of course I don’t want that, so herein lies my dilemma.... It’s not paying that bothers me most, it’s that when done, the post gets deemed as ‘advertising’ or being ‘sponsored’. The vast majority of my posts are not intended to be seen or labeled as advertising. To me, they are my sharing of my passion with like-minded souls. That’s it. So please know that if my posts appear as ads it’s not my preference. It’s just the way FB is enabled to continue ‘promoting’ what I have to say. Just know that my love, care, and appreciation for you all will remain free. bek
21.01.2022 What a comfort to get a visit from my all time favourite King, that of Pentacles. The day after learning of two further, three more total, weeks of hard lockdown are on the way, my fellow Melbournians would agree this is no day to have drawn anything/one less. We know what qualities this lovely man has to offer any situation to make it better. Dubbed King Midas for his unrivalled ability to set pretty much anything right.... I say pretty much for the fact he, like all of us, is of the flesh so miracles etc. are beyond his scope. Right now I could be satisfied with what Im sure would be one of the best ever reassuring hugs! Welcome to the start of another week. May many blessings and lots of love and laughter come your way. bek xxxx
20.01.2022 We could barely have a prettier card for our read today than Major Arcana VI, The Lovers. As all of the Major cards, this one has many layers, nuances, messages and meanings, especially when in a multi-card layout. Like all the Majors it has special significance.... I believe today what we see is what we get. The Lovers relates to the importance of love in your life. After our Five of Pentacles on Friday also, in its own way, highlighting what it means to stick together through and through thin, today The Lovers bring that message on strong. Not all of us have significant others in our life, a partner or close family. The Lovers highlights the need to drive away any bitterness, or self pity that can derive from such situations. The Lovers bring a very strong message about love in all its carnations, including that we should have for our neighbour, so importantly, that we must have for ourselves. In tough times it can be easy to blame, withdraw, close off from a perceived or real enemy. What The Lovers tells us, is that to do so is to shut ourselves out from the good in the world also. Open hearts are what are needed in hard times. Protect yourself from real danger, but stay open to compassion, acceptance, tolerance, and understanding. Have a lovely Wednesday all. bek
20.01.2022 Quite the dynamic duo to begin our week . . . With a little more time on my hands here and there - thanks to Melbournian house arres . . . I mean lockdown - Ive done another two card read. The Major Arcana, Emperor is the very image of the archetypal male in society, and thereby represents authority and rule (keep in mind Tarot is hundreds of years old, so its imagery, but not its interpretation, reflect the time).... With authority and rule, you have stability. When asked for more on this theme the Tarot backed it with yet another male ruler and leader in the King of Pentacles, but adds important dimension. With stability in our lives, we can afford to be choosy in the direction we take, and in what we decide to do. Backed by King Midas King of Pentacles, we can rest assured whatever we choose will be a certain success. If lacking confidence about following a particular path, pursuing a certain goal, realising a dream, nothing could be clearer in reassuring you there is no need to be. Uncertain times, in which we currently live, have caused caution, and conservatism everywhere. Many would not see this as a moment right for chasing a dream, however, this read in its plainest terms says to go for it! If speaking to you, Im sure you will know. Sending love, calm, health, and happiness your way today. Talk again soon, bek xxxx
20.01.2022 Im very happy to head into a weekend leaving you with a card like this, the Four of Wands. As the figures demonstrate, this is a card of celebration, of freedom, and of joy. Forget your worries, this card tells us to cut loose, celebrate the freedoms we have (yes, even though some of us are still in strict lockdown!).... Compared to most we still are the lucky country. This weekend, do your best to shrug off your burdens, and for two days, love yourself, love your life, and love, no matter what, the things you still have worth celebrating. Love and blessings all, Bek xxxx
20.01.2022 Thought Id set myself a challenge and close off the week with a two card read. What I see couldnt be more clear or literal. We go first to the Two of Pentacles, the juggler. Hes in a precarious and challenging situation, though appears, as yet anyway, to carry a pretty optimistic demeanour. Who cant relate to this feeling of juggling, needing to maintain numerous balls in the air to get to a better place - one we remain hopeful about arriving at.... The juggler has every reason to be upbeat, though things are tough right now, we can see his ships literally coming in over, still choppy, seas. I asked the Tarot for some further information, another card, to expand on the first, and how perfectly does the Four of Wands fit? Its image of people running free from the stone walls that enclosed them, outwardly expressing their liberty and joy. They appear jubilant, as if they may have overcome hard times. A beautiful story of hope from the Tarot to take into our weekend. May yours be blessed, loving, and joyful. bek xxxx
17.01.2022 On the Ten of Pentacles we see a family, mum, dad, the kids, grandpa, and even the family dogs. The image depicts a life ordinary in its surface appearance, but full of wonders when the effort is put in to see them. We see a magic wand leaning up against the arch, scales of justice worked into the arch (above the grandfathers head), and the Pentacles themselves form the pattern of The Kabbalistic Tree of Life.... Though the people are happy, and at ease, they appear to be going through the motions of an ordinary middle class life, utterly unaware of the mystery and and wonders that surround them. Our World is full of beauty, and mystifying and magical wonders, yet how often do we stop to explore, even consider, the miracles at play at every micro to macro level of our incredible lives? Have a blessed, loving, and beautiful weekend. Love to all, bek xxxx
17.01.2022 I never like missing our daily read, but today it wont be possible for me to manage it. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Big hugs, bek
16.01.2022 Because life isnt challenging enough I thought I better make our read today a little more complex Today, I bring another two card read. First thing to notice is the appearance of two Major Arcana cards. Indicative of a message really worth taking on board. The first of the cards, The High Priestess, is said to represent one side of the feminine archetype. (The Empress being the other.)... The High Priestess has infinite meaning when read in the context of a muti-card read. Alone she is said to represent mystery, the awareness only of our unconscious, and the potential that may hold. Though not an inherently negative card, at all, there is a lot that is hidden, at least, veiled, about her. Also, division is a theme - one half of the feminine, also her imagery, the light and dark, for example. When asked for expansion on this message, I draw another Major Arcana - The Sun. Under the Sun things are joyful, fun, all is bright, and illuminated In the Sun, all things come out to play, in a beautiful, enlightened, but simple and unified way. We are in a world with much division, much cynicism and distrust. People are blindly latching on to causes that will only hold back positivity, delay growth and return to unification. However, the potential for change remains. We must stay the course with hope and faith to one day again be in the Sun. Stay enlightened, keep up hope, and importantly faith. The Sun chases away the breeding grounds of illusion and negativity, unifying us all that stand in its brilliant light. Wishing you so much love, peace, blessings and happiness this hump day. Keep your faith. bek xxxx
16.01.2022 This is my pick for the new year . . . In no particular order, our most pertinent influences for our best 2021. See if you can figure out why. Look forward to seeing you for a read, over video, or soon, in-person once again!... Watch this space. bek
15.01.2022 The message of the Six of Cups is one of innocence, security, giving and happines - a life free of trouble, responsibility, and worry. This card urges us to recall feelings, often in childhood, sometimes not, of a time when life allowed us to live in the moment unfazed by a world where uncertainty may lurk around any corner. Let love, generosity, happiness and an open heart be your guide, even if only momentarily.... Heres to a weekend of putting weekday worry aside and being easy on ourselves and kind to others. Talk soon. bek xxxx
13.01.2022 Discipline, preparedness, self-assurance, and success . . . Pretty much in that order is the theme of the Nine of Pentacles. I have always felt an affinity with this card and have come to learn why. In the Nine of Pentacles we see quite a distinguished looking young woman, poised, beautifully dressed. The Pentacles on which she rests her hand, a sign of material achievement, not only financially, but educationally, culturally, societally.... Falconry, the sport of training a Falcon to obey ones commands, to have it submit to its master, has long been a sport of the elite, upper classes. Here we see the woman has reached that status, but how? One big message I see in this card is that of the plight of a woman; a woman who wants to be her own success, achieve her own goals, not be born into it, or marry it. Seldom, outside the court cards (I speak only of the Minor Arcana), does success present itself in the female form, and when it does, it has a certain ring of loneliness to it. Still relevant to the go-getter woman today: the pursuit of career, success, wealth and power can still come at a cost. Though today a woman, in theory can have it all, like the figure on the card, in truth, sacrifices still must be made. Wishing you all a happy hump day, full blessings and love. Look forwarding to talking again soon. bek xxx
13.01.2022 Group read tomorrow! Please respond with a comment (not just a reaction. A simple yes is fine) and I will include you in tomorrows read. The theme can be your own to apply to the card in any way you wish.... Respond by 11.00 am tomorrow to be included. Look forward to seeing you! Love, bek xxxx
12.01.2022 Just a beautiful way to finish any week - the Ace of Pentacles. The essence of the Earth and its gifts, nature, security, and joyful life - that is what the Ace offers us. The Ace invites us to see beyond our human product of civilisation, which we confuse on a daily basis as life.... Look beyond our manufactured structures and turn to the magic only the Divine can bring into being. Remind ourselves that the Earth, further, the Universe, will continue on in its perfect balance regardless of any issues, problems, struggles we may face. If we look intently, we will discover it always holds the answers, the key to any resolution. Life can be simple if we only turn to it, trust in it, and pledge to live with it harmoniously. Have a beautiful weekend. Love, bek xxxx
12.01.2022 Am interesting one today, we have the Seven of Swords. In readings, this card can sometimes relate to a person or situation that is distrustful. Alone, it can take on a different meaning. We see a man making off with his enemies weapons. A move to weaken his opposition. His plan however, if he even has one, is clearly not thought through - he strikes in broad daylight, he cant even carry all the swords.... I imagine the next frame of this situation, if there were one, would show him being spotted and chased. The Seven of Wands warns against acting impulsively, especially in a situation where its important you beat your opposition, where its important you come out on top. In serious situations where protection against someone or something is needed, it cautions against acting without thinking things through. It tells us careful planning before action is needed. I hope you all find an opportunity for some joy in your Wednesday. I hope you find ample opportunity to smile. Love, bek xxxx
11.01.2022 Ah the King of Wands! He did appear in the group read I did here last week. Although I could simply repeat what Id interpreted then, I feel there is a different message he brings today, one thats broader, aimed at the group, not just the individual. Today, I read from the King that his characteristics as ruler, and as a person, exist the rulers we are having to depend on so much today, especially here where I am in Victoria.... This King is very strong minded, never afraid to go against the grain, nor to change up the status quo, if his convictions tell him it must be so. The King can seem domineering in his manner, in his delivery, often, but thats not because he is arrogant and simply needs to be right. This is because he knows he is right, ruffling feathers un- phases him if it must be done to speak his truth. This all translates to a courage of conviction and honesty I see in our leaders as they plan for the rocky future, wit Covid, as well as deal with some uncomfortable truths about failures at their hand - again this is very much a Victorian perspective, but not solely so. The message is to trust that our leaders have the health and safety of us, the people, foremost in their minds and actions at present. We have little choice, so its nice to see the King appear to let us know our trust is not misplaced. Welcome to a new week everyone. May today be blessed with happiness and health. Much love, bek xxxx
11.01.2022 A Major Arcana once again - we have some strong messages being brought to us through the Tarot this week. Card X, The Wheel of Fortune, can have many meanings in an individual, multi-card spread. At its heart, however, there is the theme of change, and thats what I read from it today. Change - not of the kind we consciously put into action, nor the kind we manifest for ourselves, but the kind - as we can all relate to - that fate delivers.... There is unavoidable fate in everyones life, whether we want to acknowledge it or not. It can be borne of Karma, for instance, many things, but the big question is, once faced with this fateful change, how will we respond to it? We all recognise the change affecting our World today, but how much thought have we put into what we will do about it? What will be our contributions, our actions? How will we allow it to change us? Change has been, and continues to be overwhelming, and quick, to the point weve not had much choice but to react in the moment without much thought at all. The Wheel puts that challenge to us: how are we dealing with this change? As we head into the future, how might we choose to go on in our new world? Sending, love and peace to all you beautiful people. bek xxxx
11.01.2022 Well, theres no way around it, this is not the happiest of cards. I wish I had something prettier to leave you with for the weekend. But, a read is a read, and today Ive drawn the Five of Pentacles. This five represents hardship, of any kind - financial, material, health and illness-wise. This does indeed reflect the state of things for many today. There are uplifting messages in this card that cannot be ignored. ... The pair in the image, though injured, and struggling, probably cold and hungry, are surviving. They havent laid down to give up, they stay on the move fighting against their circumstance. The card shows sanctuary in the presence of the church, and a faith this pair continue to hold fast to, likely that things can and will get better. Most importanty, though one may drag the other down, they are together, representing love and steadfast support. Even in such times of struggle, one does not give up on the other. Please remember these qualities we all hold and are capable of expressing, though, we ourselves are in hard times. Sending love, happiness, and blessings. Talk again soon. bek
10.01.2022 Welcome to Wednesday, friends. We reach the middle of the working week with a bang, and Major Arcana XX, no less, Judgement. Not only is this a card of the Major Arcana it is highly progressed - card 20, from 22. This cards message is strong, and would dominate a multi-card layout. It is hard to sum up the message of Judgement without sounding as though I am repeatedly banging the same drum, or that I myself am making the judgements.... Judgement speaks of reaching an enlightened state of change and spiritual/physical evolution. The Universe is sending out a call - change is needed, desperately needed. Will we answer it? Will we take notice and act? Months ago, I can remember, when we, in Australia, and much of the world, were in lockdown in response to our first-wave of Corona. Amongst fear and sadness, was a hope, I felt, some slight excitement. Some of us were anticipating that in that time of being forced to halt, we as humans could reflect on the state wed inflicted on our World. Thanks to the absence of humans, dolphins were frolicking in Venetian canals, a whale came to feed in our Port Philip Bay. The message to change our ways seemed clear, and possible. Hope was high. I am now in the unenviable position of being in our strictest lockdown, in Melbourne amongst our second wave. The second wave hit because some people did not answer a call, they appeared oblivious to one. We now see, again, that oblivion across our World, as other countries are swallowed up in their second waves. Inconceivably, not only does oblivion to a call still exist, but worse, defiance in the face of it, refusal, to be anything other than self-interested. So again, the Universe is calling, will it fall on too many deaf, self-centred ears? Lets hope and pray not. Love, peace, blessings, bek xxxx
09.01.2022 A two card reading today. First drawn, our favourite lady, the Nine of Pentancles. On asking for further information, I draw The Hanged Man. Such a great pair. The young woman, the definition of independence, drive and self confidence, building herself up by only what life has had on offer.... As she readies herself to step out into the world, to take on what it has in store, any trace of self-doubt, insecurity, or questioning is swept away by the ultimate rebel, The Hanged Man. As life is changing before our very eyes, as we have no choice but to change along with it, be assured your choices are the right ones for you, your decisions are sound. Believe in you and your capabilities, let no one elses opinions or criticisms change your plans, decisions, choices, or moves. You are on your path to success. Lots of love on this beginning of a brand new week. bek xxxx

08.01.2022 We began this week with a visit from the The Emperor, with a message about cool, calm, level-headedness over pure emotional reaction. Now, as the weekend rolls around, we see The Empress - the embodiment of feeling, emotions, pleasure and deep sensual joy. Where the Emperor formed the archetypal Male energy, the Empress is the Female; the motherly, comforting aspects of the female.... The Empress is said, in contrast to the Emperor (representative of law and society), to embody the pure, unbridled pleasure and deep comfort we can draw from the beauty and wonder of nature. Shrug off your robes of law, order, and societal constraints, to soak in the pleasures, and essence of freedom and wonder we can relate to nature, and the nurturing of The Empress. And have a blessed, joyful weekend. Talk soon, bek

07.01.2022 Happy Wednesday friends! This card, the eight of Wands, is one of those I mentioned the other day with imagery that doesnt do the cards meaning much justice. There is actually something quite profound depicted in what we see - eight Wands, catapulting toward the earth in very intentional fashion.... We are seeing the unity of two suits: Wands, of fire energy, with Pentacles, that of the earth. The union of these energies indicates welcomed news - the completion of a project, a long awaited announcement, or maybe relief brought to an arduous and trying situation. Whatever the specifics, this card represents satisfaction, the receipt of something yearned for. Things will balance, wrongs will be righted, things fairly fought for will be won, wishes will come true, and prayers answered. Some great news on what otherwise is just another ordinary hump day Love to all, bek xxxx P.S. put more simply, in Tarot terms, this is the grounding (earth, Pentacles) of creativity and action (fire, Wands).
06.01.2022 The Sun, symbolises fun, happiness, freedom, care-free abandon, vacations, laughter. . . Joy It serves purposes greater, giving warmth, providing energy, facilitating growth, supporting life, our life, all life.... Unity
06.01.2022 Unity, union, is the hallmark of the Three of Cups, and all the feelings and emotion it brings. Tears is what springs to mind when I think of this time and the scope of emotion surfacing. Tears of joy, relief, love for those able to reunite with the softening of Covid restrictions.... Tears, also, of loss, of grief for whom this freedom came too late to be united with loved ones before they passed away. And possible tears from people for whom times like this, as with Christmas and birthdays, only emphasise their loneliness. May we unite in our thoughts of love, peace, and happiness for one another. Have a beautiful weekend. I’ll be back soon. Much love, bek xxxx
05.01.2022 Self-assured, capable, and highly intelligent. Succsessful, driven, a real go-getter. Charismatic, magnetic, a natural leader. Such characteristics would be assumed to partnered with arrogance, self-involvement, ego-centrism, and perhaps a lack of empathy. The King of Wands has all the positive qualities mentioned above without the negative ones. He sees no need for deceit, or deriding others to rise to the top, its not in his nature, nor with a birthright to the throne, has... it needed to be. The one detractor from this Kings nature is a tendency for intolerance toward others who are not as intelligent, not as capable, not up to his ability. He must remind himself that because he can, doesnt mean everyone else can too. The appearance of this King suggests that now is time to trust in yourself, time to strike, to pursue what it is that youve been umming and ahhhinhg about all this time. There is prosperity and success awaiting to partner with your natural abilities to bring to reality what you want to achieve. You have the energy of the King on your side right now. There could be no better time to back yourself. Just ensure you remain true to yourself in your pursuits, remain humble, and grateful for the success, and any help you may receive along the way. 05.01.2022 Most of the Wands cards 5-10 can really be misunderstood. One simple reason, I feel is in their imagery, its a little on the plain side. They also dont vary much in colour with blues and the greens. Its a shame because their messages are really quite dynamic.... Wands is the suit of fire, movement, creativity. The Wands energy powerful, passionate, and driven. If encountering someone on a Wands-driven mission you probably best get out of their way. On the Seven, we see, what I think appears as an angry looking figure, aggressively driving, or pulling Wands either into or from the ground. Its not anger hes expressing its fire, drive and it is exhilarating. Whatever the conflict on his mind, he is gearing up to win! Self-assured that he will, its what he expects because thats what he usually does. Todays card is all about passion, its all about conflict, but fuelled by the belief of fighting the good fight. An example of the energy can be seen all over the world right now in the form of protests and rebellion. I dont mean bunches of idiots out to pick a fight with police or whoever else that happens to get in their way. I mean people with best intentions at heart. One concern of the Wands way is becominghooked on the feeling of fighting to win while losing sight of what theyre fighting for. A little something for us to all keep in mind. May you have a blessed, joy and love-filled weekend. Best wishes to fathers everywhere. Talk again soon, bek xxxx
05.01.2022 Hello beautiful people. Some interesting and significant stuff to start the week. Friday dealt us a card not yet encountered in our daily reads - Major Arcana 15, the Devil. Imagine my reaction when the very next read produces Card 16, the Tower.... Not only are they each, or at least have been, seldom drawn cards, they are each cards of the Major Arcana. Recall the journey I spoke of on Friday, the journey chronologically laid out by the Major Arcana? Today were are shown the very next step along the way. Card 15 brought us messages about materialism, and the misery eventually encountered when one acknowledges nothing more to life than that which pleases the senses. The Tower can mean a great many things when part of a multi-card reading. In this context, I interpret it to refer to its central lesson, as it occurs in the journey (The Fools Journey). As violent as its image appears, it does not necessarily refer to actual violence, but the shock usually required to snap someone out of the Devils seduction. Nothing is learnt in the absence of adversity, there is no growth without pain, no light without dark. Unless we realise lifes setbacks and pain as opportunities for growth, if we see them as nothing but bad luck then a series of events may come as a cluster. Only then, may some of us, through the almighty shock, awaken to spirituality. I believe its appearance today, immediately after Fridays card, is recognition that many, if not all of us here, already acknowledge this to be true, and are well tuned to our spirituality. Keep up the good work. Much love, bek xxxx
04.01.2022 We start the week with a rather melancholy card, the Six of Swords. It always evokes emotion in me, this card, its image of the shrouded figure, the boat out in quiet waters, en route to a wooded island. To me it tells of an opportunity to move on through a difficult time. Perhaps its a time of evolution, adaptation, a moment of realisation that things, though they may be unsettling, require us to move on with, rather than from them.... Its a time of acceptance . . . Though our World as we knew it has changed, we either physically, or via soul-searching, or both, must take some quiet time to change along with it. Welcome to a new week, friends. Love to all xxxx

03.01.2022 Well . . .! Today, as well as asking the Tarot, as always, for a card of guidance for all here at Crimson Moon, I asked for something different to what we usually see, something I could write interestingly about. It seems the Tarot may be teaching me a lesson in being careful what I wish for. I didnt really mean this interesting ... Im sure youll be familiar by now with the Tarot consisting of 78 cards, 22 of which are named the Major Arcana. These 22 cards tell a story of a journey from a state of complete navet, innocence, and wonder to ultimate knowing and enlightenment. The story is told in characters/situations that the first character, The Fool, encounters on this journey. At card 15, the Devil appears - about as multi-layered a card as any in the Tarot deck. But at its essence, this cards message is clear, and like all cards in the Tarot its purpose is to highlight what may be holding us back on our journey to enlightenment and happiness. The Devil is a representation of materialism, and a materialistic view of the world. He appears to try and convince man that nothing beyond the material exists. This extends beyond a lust for money, wealth, and things to the belief that nothing exists beyond what satisfies our senses. Materialism excludes acknowledgement of any spiritual aspect to life, concerning only what we see, hear, taste, smell, and touch. Its a view that leads to misery and depression when one feels devoid of or unsuccessful in accumulation of these things. Someone caught up in bad physical situation, say, a negligent family or abusive spouse, or being trapped/imprisoned by an oppressive political regime is destined for helplessnes and hopelessness if unaware, or denying that life exists beyond the physical, and the material. Card XV exists to warn us against being a slave to our desires, which can be easy to turn to, to seek comfort in, when experiencing difficult, troubling times, in times of depression and inner turmoil. However, such pursuits can become all consuming, possibly narrowing ones focus to a point of leading us down a path of addiction, straying from our morals, losing touch with who we are. Life without acknowledgement of all alternatives is a life only partially lived. True happiness, enduring happiness, happiness that is soul-deep, comes through living, and practising a rich and balanced existence between our physical and spiritual selves. Have a balanced, blessed, and joyful weekend. We will speak again soon. Much love to you all, bek xxxx
03.01.2022 We see a figure, on the Eight of Pentacles, at work, hard at work, and very productive, it seems. But this man isnt mindlessly churning out piece after piece, according to some strict timeline, set by some draconian boss. On the contrary, this man is engrossed in what he is doing, enjoying each moment in a state of utter flow.... He is not working just for a cheque, he is working for and from his soul. In the distance via a road leading straight to the worker, we see some buildings, a village, indicating that although the worker is lost in his task, its not frivolous, not a hobby, what he produces has a real life purpose. Find a job you love and youll never work a day in your life. Just stay grounded and connected to the real world also Hope this reading has helped you in some way. bek
