23.01.2022 Hi folks, time for another update! Unfortunately our guitarist Paula's neck/back issues have continued to get worse over the past 2 months and she now requires spinal surgery which she will be having this Thursday 28th Nov. This means unfortunately we will not be playing at the "Back to the Wicko" gig in December. Of course the gig will still be on and all-female band "Pretty Irresistible" will be filling in for us. We are hoping that Paula will make a full recovery and will... be back on deck better than ever for our 2020 gigs. Thanks again for your patience with shows we have had to cancel this year due to Paula's ongoing spinal issues. We never cancel shows unnecessarily, but of course our health and well being always come first. So on wards and upwards folks, hope you all have a safe and happy Xmas and New Year and here's to bigger things in 2020. :)

20.01.2022 Hi folks, it's been a while since we posted so time for an update! Unfortunately we had to cancel our 2 most recents gigs at The Wicko due to Paula our guitarist having injuries. In June Paula accidently cut her finger quite badly a few days before the gig and was unable to play guitar. Most recently we had to cancel our September gig as Paula had a flare up of back and neck injuries she received in car accidents many years ago and was advised by her doctors that she risked f...urther damage to her spine if she played the gig. So after many doctors, specialists, MRI's, x-rays, CT scans and chiropractor visits later, today Paula has had day surgery to have some nerve blocks done in her neck. We are hoping these procedures will resolve the current pain and numbness issues Paula has been experiencing for the past month and she will be back on deck fit as a fiddle for our December gig at The Wicko. Thank you for your patience and understanding with our recent cancellations as we never cancel gigs unless our one of our band mates is sick or injured. We look forward to seeing you all soon, cheers :)

19.01.2022 Hey folks today is a sad day for Crimson Tide. 3 years ago today our original singer Sam, who was a soul sister to Sally & Paula, passed away from breast cancer. Sam was an inspiration to all who knew her and she will never be forgotten and is terribly missed by all who knew her and loved her. This song "You've Gone" was written by Paula many years ago and we recorded it with Sam and Darren in the early 2000's.

19.01.2022 Today it's 2 years since our original vocalist, Sam Aulton, passed away from breast cancer. Sam was one of a kind and we had an amazing time travelling around the countryside gigging together in our formative years. We have put together a special video in remembrance of Sam, she is singing one of Paula's original songs called "You've Gone" which we recorded in the early 2000's. 15.01.2022 Come on down to the Wicko tonight folks!! Our "Back to the Wicko" gig is a tribute night to our soul sister Sam who passed away from metastatic breast cancer in December 2016. We will have some special guest performers including Sam's sister Sally who will be performing some of Sam's favourite songs with us. It will be a night to remember :)

07.01.2022 Hi folks, unfortunately we have had to cancel our performance at "Back To The Wicko" this weekend. Our guitarist Paula has had an injury to her hand and is currently unable to play guitar. The "Back To The Wicko" event will still be on and local Newcastle band "The 3" will be filling for us. We wish Paula a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing everyone at the next "Back To The Wicko" gig in September.

06.01.2022 Hi folks we have a good news update today. As mentioned in our previous post, our guitarist Paula had spinal surgery last Thursday. The surgery was quite successful and Paula is recovering well. The numbness and weakness she had in her left hand and fingers (due to nerve root compression) is getting better which is fantastic news. Paula has even been able to pick up her guitar this week and play a little bit. So onwards and upwards folks and we will be back on stage in 2020!!
