20.01.2022 Crisis Counselling has been fortunate to receive a few one-off donations recently from Charities Aid Foundation STV Appeal Co-op and The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland and we would just like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of them and to everyone who is involved in raising money for these charities. We rely on these donations to keep us going and during the current situation, our counselling services are vital to the community so we need all the support we can get, so we are extremely grateful to each and every one of you!

08.01.2022 *Coronavirus Update* As everyone is well aware, the developments of the Coronavirus are accelerating. We are aiming to continue to offer support at our centre for existing clients while keeping in mind the health and wellbeing of our Staff, Volunteers and clients. We would like all of our clients to feel confident that at this present time and until we are advised otherwise - we are still open and trying, where possible, to fulfil obligations to all of our client groups.... To continue our services, we have taken the precautions outlined below: Providing Anti-bacterial hand wash and ensuring Staff and Volunteers wash their hands at every opportunity We have asked all Staff & Volunteers to immediately self-isolate and not come into work if they display any symptoms and are feeling unwell. Information on reducing the spread of Covid 19 have been put up in all our counselling spaces/rooms so we can all be correctly informed and educated on the situation in hand. We are encouraging all Staff & Volunteers to follow basic hygiene protocol as recommended by the World Health Organisation. Where possible sessions for existing clients and new clients will be moved to Online/Skype/ Telephone: 0141 812 8474 While doing our best to protect each other and our families from the risk of spreading the Coronavirus, we ask that if you are displaying any of the symptoms mentioned, please contact the centre immediately and do not attend your sessions. We thank you for your continued and valued support at this challenging time. We hope to resume normal business as soon as we possibly can.

01.01.2022 We are delighted that Poppyscotland have awarded us with a grant to allow our continuing to support for veterans facing challenges to effective living. Our counsellors provide crucial support to veterans and thier families throughout the whole of Scotland and the Highlands in all aspects of adjusting to civilian life, coping with life-altering injuries or trauma and stress from their last deployment. We also work with those who left the Military years ago and who have still unresolved issues that continue to affect them and impact on everyday life.
