24.01.2022 Crisp Bus Lines Stanthorpe wish to advise that ALL school bus services to Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt Schools North and South are CANCELLED tomorrow Monday 9/09/19. This decision was made after liaising with local schools, QLD and NSW Transport. For those who attend Tenterfield schools and travel on the Jennings to Tenterfield school bus service, this will be operating as per normal Monday 09/09/19. 22.01.2022 Crisps Coaches and Bus Lines wishes to advise with the current QLD border closures being enforced from midnight tonight, we have received directive from both QLD and NSW Government bodies that we are an exempt service and are still able to transport those students who live in NSW and attend QLD schools across the border. Our school services this relates to are the Tenterfield to Stanthorpe and Liston to Stanthorpe schools bus services. Many parents should of received a lette...r from us this afternoon notifying them of possible timetable delays due to cross border checking. If you did not receive this please ensure your child is out and waiting at the normal scheduled time. 20.01.2022 WOW- that was huge. Our coaches have returned home from transporting spectators and games workforce personnel during the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. A massive THANK YOU to our staff who helped our buses service the Carrara Stadium Precinct, Broadbeach Sports Precinct and Robina Stadium - 18 to 20 hours a day for the entire games.

18.01.2022 Crisps Coaches & Bus Lines would like to advise that AT THIS STAGE with the current situation of QLD borders closing, NSW students catching the Tenterfield to Stanthorpe & Liston to Stanthorpe services will be running as per normal. The continuation of service will continue for as long as the schools are open. We are operating under the advice and direction of both QLD & NSW Transport. Both departments have stated that at current both states have schools remaining open and th...at all bus services should operate as per normal or unless advised by Government Transport Authorities. We are undertaking extra daily cleaning within the depot and ALL school buses to ensure safe and clean buses for all students and drivers. There were 944 entries in this years expo across all school age groups throughout the Granite Belt, breaking a new record for art entries. This years theme was 'Earth, Air, Fire and Water: Creating Art & Documenting Drought, Fire & COVID 19 on the Granite Belt'. Well done to all those students who entered.

14.01.2022 Term 2 Update Following our previous ‘Term 2 Update’ article, we have been advised by QLD Transport and QPS that NSW students will be able to cross the QLD border provided each student is in a school uniform and travelling in a school bus. We still recommend that cross border students obtain an individual pass so they are covered and meet any border crossing requirements.... 13.01.2022 We hope everyone has been enjoying their holidays and had a wonderful Easter! TERM 2 School Bus Service Update: As schools are remaining open for students of essential workers and vulnerable children, Crisps Coaches School Bus Services will be running as per normal for the start of Term 2 to ensure these students and families have access to our service and their respective schools.... We have been advised by QLD Transport that revised services may be required depending on the number of students travelling on each service. We will endeavour to inform you if any changes that may take place. We are still waiting on confirmation from the Government in regard to those students crossing the border from NSW into QLD as to whether they will require an individual permit. 08.01.2022 All Crisps school services will operate tomorrow to all schools in the Granite Belt with the exception of Severnlea, Glen Aplin and Ballandean State Schools. Some road closures could mean a slight variation to regular school services. Students effected by these closures should wait at the nearest stop that is open. The exclusion zone along Mt Tully/Eukey Road will mean the service (Eukey) will not operate at this stage due to safety reasons. This service will be reviewed tomorrow morning at 7am. This is to ensure those students of essential workers and vulnerable children who are attending school still have access to our School Bus Service and their respective school. Term 2 arrangements will be based on Government directive at that point in time. We will always operate our School Bus Services unless the schools are closed and we h...ave been instructed by QLD & NSW Transport governing bodies. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our team here at Crisps Coaches. The School Bus drivers are doing an amazing job given the current circumstances to ensure the safe delivery off each student and undertaking extra measures and cleaning to protect the students and themselves. 02.01.2022 ATTENTION - BORDER PASS REQUIREMENT UPDATE All NSW Students travelling to QLD Schools We have been advised by Government Departments that those students travelling on our School Bus Services, namely our Liston, Tenterfield, Jennings and Wallangarra Service, and who live in NSW WILL require a QLD Border Declaration Pass, as of today the 10th July 2020. Due to the nature of the new QLD Border Pass, being a declaration that those students have not travelled to any COVID-19 hotsp...ots or Victoria, please ensure your child has this pass in their possession prior to boarding the bus.
