18.01.2022 Subject: FW: Councillor Request - Jason Pauling - Schreiber Hamilton Architecture Pty Ltd - Toronto Foreshore Project - CR 32764/2020 Response: "Hi Cr Pauling,... In response to your request associated with Council’s expenditure on the Toronto project with Schreiber Hamilton Architecture we provide the following response. Schreiber Hamilton Architecture Pty Ltd (SHAC) were engaged as the head consultant to deliver both the proposed development on the Bath St site and the Toronto Foreshore Master Plan. The services included all of the necessary planning, design, engineering, services, certification and consultancies required to deliver the former 4 to 6 level development and similar services for the Foreshore Masterplan. At the time of engagement it was thought that engaging the same head consultant for both the development project and foreshore works would provide savings to council. As you are aware the development project is not being pursued. To this end, the services relating to the development project are no longer required and will not be delivered. Please note that the $1,318,621 value referenced was a budget figure and this money has not been spent. For clarity, of the original engagement approximately $183,000 has been paid to SHAC for work associated with the 4 to 6 level development. Since Council’s resolution of September 2019 no further works have been undertaken on the 4 to 6 level development. The Foreshore Masterplan engagement continues to be delivered and SHAC will be paid for their services from this budget as the works progress. If you require any further information please do not hesitate in contacting me."

13.01.2022 Subject: Response to Councillor Request - Jason Pauling - Overflowing public garbage bins in Bath Street Toronto - CR 32242/2020 "Dear Councillor Pauling Thank you for your email of 10 August 2020 regarding the overflowing public litter bins at Bath Street Toronto. ... Councils Waste Operations Coordinator has investigated this matter and I advise the following: The bins at this location are serviced each week on a Wednesday. Please note during the previous service (Wednesday the 5th of August) when all the bins were emptied, additional surrounding rubbish was also cleaned up and removed. Waste Operations will service the bins Tuesday the 11th of August and remove the dumped rubbish. The four free standing bins (2 red and 2 yellow lidded) will be removed during this week, leaving the two bins within the bin enclosures. These four bins may have been abandoned or positioned in this area by an unknown resident. Once they are removed and if the owners are identified by Council, we will reinstate the bins to the appropriate address. As a consequence of the above change and recognising the potential impact of waste generated, the collection service for the remaining two bins (within enclosures) will be revised immediately and the bins will be emptied three days per week (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Waste Operations team will continue to assess the volumes of waste generated from these bins and amend the collection service (and/or increase the number of bins, which would be fitted onto a bin stand, rather than free standing) if required."

01.01.2022 WHY DIDN'T THEY BOTHER TO RECLASSIFY IT AS COMMUNITY LAND??? Lots of activity and opinions again regarding the Bath Street site in Toronto but what I don't understand is that if previous Mayor's (and Councillors) wanted this as community land: a) WHY DIDN'T THEY BOTHER TO RECLASSIFY IT AS COMMUNITY LAND? ... b) Why did they keep trying to develop or sell this land? Makes no sense! Anyone got any ideas on that?
