16.01.2022 GOOD FRIDAY LUNCH 2016 - Over 450 people are slowly filing in to the club to get their fix of seafood prepared the traditional Croatian way - thank you to all our community volunteers for the huge effort in making this possible!

16.01.2022 Croatian Community Centre Bushfire Appeal Countless stories of devastation are emerging around Australia as the country burns. The scale of the crisis is hard to comprehend. The fires have burned more than 12 million acres, killed 24 people and destroyed nearly 2000 homes.... Next Friday the 24th of January Croatian Community Centre plans to donate $5 from every meal sold and $1 from every drink sold to the Red Cross & Wildlife Victoria. Special entertainment on the night to be provided by Michael Pinjuh and H.K.U.D. Lado from 8:30pm onwards. Burgers will also be sold from 8:00pm onwards with all proceeds going to the mentioned causes. For those wanting to secure a table for the traditional fish night please get in early!!

08.01.2022 The Croatian Community Centre of Geelong would like to thank the whole community for their support given last Friday night for our Australian bushfire appeal. The total amount raised was $2567, this is to be split between the Red cross and Wildlife Victoria. We would also like to give special thanks to H.K.U.D. "Lado" Geelong, Michael Pinjuh and Ante Komadina "Box" who graciously provided the entertainment. Tom Pandzic and Steve Brdar for creating and cooking the special bar menu. Also our crew of volunteers who cooked and served just under 200 meals during our normal Friday night service. Our volunteers are proud to have offered their time to help those who need it most during such a devasting time for Australians.

We're officially launching our new album "Merry Christmas from Croatia" at our Christmas Concert at St Mary of the A...ngels Basilica TONIGHT, but you can get in early and purchase a copy for $20 at each of the English and Croatian masses THIS MORNING at Holy Family Church in Separation Street, Bell Park. The multicultural Christmas album features 17 tracks recorded in Croatian, English, Slovenian, Italian, Latin, French, Polish and another with Ukrainian heritage (but recorded in English). One of the two instrumental tracks features an amazing alto, tenor and soprano saxophone solo by the incredibly talented Berislav Antica, and last but my no means least, you will also find two tracks featuring our great and dear friend ani Stipaniev and a new version of an old classic featuring none other than the legendary Oliver Dragojevic. The release of this album marks another historical milestone for our now 43 year-old group and is a testament to every member and leader present and past whose contributions helped build and enable the development of the group into what it is today - we love and thank you all and look forward to hearing your feedback!
