23.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has supported me through another year! I cannot wait to see how much stronger we all can get in 2021. Set some goals and let’s go

23.01.2022 A mini pep talk for all you babes: You can do it. Even though sometimes you doubt yourself. Even though at times it can feel so overwhelming. Do not worry. Breathe. Trust yourself. Know that you are capable and you are going to absolutely smash it

21.01.2022 Willpower is like a muscle. The more you train it, the stronger it gets. Click the link in our bio and let’s get training

20.01.2022 I won’t lie, training doesn’t get easier. Why? Because you slowly get stronger and begin to challenge and push yourself more and more each session.... But let me tell you, it’s the best feeling when you realise your body and mind can push through something you never thought you’d be able to do!

19.01.2022 Direction is so much more important than speed. If you need some direction and guidance with your training, slide into my dm’s

18.01.2022 SOME TIPS WHEN STARTING YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY 01. INVEST IN A TRAINER We are here to help, guide, motivate, support and cheer you on! But putting YOUR body in someones hands shouldn’t be taken lightly. Do your research and invest in a qualified and experienced trainer who has invested their time and money to ensure they’re only providing the best for you. Remember, anyone can just throw together some exercises and make you tired ... 02. FOCUS ON YOUR ‘WHY’ What are your goals? Why do you want to start training? Find your ‘why’! This will help keep you going on the days when your motivation is low. Tip: try to set goals that aren’t ‘weightloss’ related e.g. being able to do a body weighted push up. 03. AVOID COMPARISON It’s hard, I know, but every single body is different. Even if we all ate and trained exactly the same we would all still look so different. So stop measuring your progress with someone else’s ruler and be proud of yourself! 04. REALLY CELEBRATE Fully embrace your decision to make a change towards a healthier, fitter and stronger you. Be proud of yourself for how hard you’re trying and celebrate your strength! 05. LEARN TO REST If you get tired, learn to rest, not quit. Over excising isn’t going to do you any favours, it will just lead to burnout and you not enjoying your training anymore. Tip: schedule in rest days with your program! You don’t have to train 7 days a week for hours on end to achieve your goals and allowing your body to rest and recover isn’t going to make your training progress go backwards.

18.01.2022 Improvement will always be my motivator. I love the feeling of getting stronger and my body being able to push itself a little further than the last time. What motivates you to train?

18.01.2022 Trust in the process. There is no quick fix. No magic pill. The healthy way is the only way. As coaches all we can do is ‘shine a light on the path’, but it’s still ultimately on you to take and follow it. ... 13.01.2022 Defeat is a choice. If you believe in yourself you will never be defeated (even in a conditioning session )

13.01.2022 If you want to be happy, be happy on purpose. When you wake up in the morning, you can’t just wait and see what kind of day you’ll have. You have to decide what kind of day you’ll have! Higher thoughts. Higher energy. Higher vibrations. Higher frequencies. Higher experiences.

12.01.2022 This is the first time I’ve loaded some weight on for a bb snatch My technique (and confidence) on moving weight overhead needs some work, but it will come, all have to start somewhere

11.01.2022 What are your non-negotiables? It could be: waking up early in the mornings being aware of your water intake and trying to drink lots throughout the day... practicing your diaphragmatic breathing throughout the day meditating before you touch your phone in the morning and/or before you go to bed at night moving your body daily reciting positive affirmations reframing negative thoughts into positive ones practicing gratitude daily + so many more. But I’d love to hear what yours are! Or if you don’t have any, let me know which ones you set for yourself

09.01.2022 Did you know you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Take that to heart. Find a group of people who inspire you, push you, cheer for you, challenge you, support you and make you laugh. Spend a lot of time with them, it will change your life.

09.01.2022 The way you view your training is so important. It shouldn’t be seen as a punishment for what you ate or as a chore because you need too, but instead seeing it as a blessing! Be grateful you physically can exercise and do it because your body deserves love, respect and healthy attention

07.01.2022 New Year, New PBs Have you set your training goals for 2021?

05.01.2022 Yes, I know it’s scary. Do you know what’s also scary? Looking back in 20 years with regret for not doing the things you wanted to because you felt scared of failure, people’s opinions and change. So just go for it! Start now. Start where you are. Start with fear. Start with doubt. But just start!

05.01.2022 A healthy lifestyle not only changes your body, it changes your mind, your attitude and your mood Message me for a free intro session + consultation and let’s create a lifestyle that both your body and mind will thankyou for

04.01.2022 Everything happens on a mental level before it manifests on the physical level. This is why it is so important to get your mindset right. You have to believe in yourself no matter what the external circumstances are. Strengthen your vision. You’ve totally got this

02.01.2022 You just need to focus on the step in front of you, not the whole staircase

01.01.2022 Some people know my background as to why I became a PT but thought I’d share for those who don’t. Get comfy, it’s a long one... Growing up I was one of those people who could eat whatever she wanted and never gained weight (note: I was also very active and played a lot of sport). After school I stopped all sport, kept eating whatever I wanted, turned 18, drank every chance I got and as a result, gained weight. ... I didn’t really notice/it didn’t bother me until Instagram came out that I began comparing my body to all these girls. It became bad. Obsessive. I hated the way I looked and stopped going out in fear people would judge me. *cue typical girl response to wanting to lose weight* I starved myself and over exercised (only did cardio). Every morning I would weigh myself, and got into such a bad place mentally from comparing my body to someone else’s that I thought once I lost X amount and hit a certain weight, all my problems would go away, I would be confident and happy again. I wasn’t. I hit that goal weight (was almost 10kg less than what I weigh now!), had a thigh gap (because that’s how you measure self worth right? ) and still thought I was fat? Still thought I could lose more weight? Still wasn’t happy. Emil (my bf), had just started studying to become a PT and begun educating me on the body and exercise. It was hard at first to grasp the concept of eating more and not burning myself out for hours on cardio equipment and to instead start lifting weights, but I slowly began to shift my focus to how strong my body is and loving it for what it could do instead of focusing on what I wanted to change about it. Fast forward to now, I love my body. Yes I bloat, yes I have stretch marks, yes I have cellulite but f*ck, we all do, who gives a shit, my body is strong! When I look back at that time in my life, it breaks my heart that I could hate my body that much. And it breaks my heart to know there are so many girls who are going through this too which is why I wanted to share my experience. So please, stop letting your mind bully your body. Because it is incredible and strong and can do so much when you show it the love it deserves! I am here to help you, all I ask is you let me show you how strong that body and mind of yours truly is

01.01.2022 Don’t wait for approval. Not everyone will understand your vision. You just need to believe in yourself, remain positive and go get it done #leopardprintfriday
