22.01.2022 LIAM'S SOBRIETY CHALLENGE!!! Dear Colleagues & Friends I am committing myself to a month long sobriety challenge. Most of you will appreciate this is no small s...acrifice on my part, as I am partial to a glass of red or two from time to time!! The rules are the same as the normal Dry July challenge No drinks for the whole month no beer, no wine, no bourbon dear God, what am I thinking? As many of you will know, I am intimately involved with the Lions Club of Cronulla and the Sharks Have Heart Foundation which has the goal of reducing bullying and addressing the high rates of youth suicide in the Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas. With no disrespect intended to the Dry July organisation, I am seeking sponsorship for my ordeal through the Lions Club in order to support my chosen charity. Id love to raise $10,000 for the Lions Club and Sharks Have Heart, but I can only do so with your help. Please dig deep This is an worthy cause and I challenge you to make a sacrifice as large as my own!! I know many of you will have doubts that Ill make it but to you doubters I say, go on, put your money where your mouth is, challenge me! Click the link below in order to make a donation to Lions Club in order to sponsor me as I undertake this momentous challenge. Ill issue an invoice to all persons generous enough to make a donation with my grateful thanks!! http://www.cronullalions.org.au/ For more information about the great works funded by the Sharks Have Heart Foundation, please click the link below: https://sharkshaveheart.com.au/

22.01.2022 Who is keen for Seafeast?

21.01.2022 Update 10/8/18 - No time to hit the hay! https://www.theleader.com.au//no-time-to-hit-the-hay-duri/ --------- Update 9/8/18 - some great footage of the first hay drop on PRIME7 last night! https://www.prime7.com.au/news/3355-hay-drop ---------- Update 8/8/18 - our efforts are already having an impact. See the first delivery here: https://www.northerndailyleader.com.au//lions-drought-he/... ---------- Update as at 7/8/18 - We have now raised an additional $6,100. Only $15,900 to go for another truckload of feed! ---------- We need your help to raise essential funds to provide urgent assistance to the drought stricken farmers of rural NSW that have been crippled by one of the worst droughts in recorded history. The Cronulla Lions Club is partnering with the Gunnedah Lions Club to direct our much needed disaster relief such as feed and water for livestock to the most drought affected areas. Please give generously to this immediate and worthwhile cause. The Lions Clubs of Australia funds its administrative costs by our members, so you can be certain that 100% of your donations will be applied on the front lines of this crisis. Our farmers need our help now, but we know that Australians will pull together for those most desperately in need! When it costs $20,000 to put one trucks worth of feed into the worst affected areas, the time to act is now! http://cronullalions.org.au/farmrelief.html
