24.01.2022 CROOKWELL SQUASH OPEN TOURNAMENT 2020 19 Feb 2020 Would you be able to include the following editorial in the Gazette for Thurs 1 March.... Matthew & Karen Benjamin will be hosting the annual 'Crookwell Squash Open 2020’ next weekend. They have received entries from local players and others who travelled from Dapto, Bathurst, Canberra, Sydney and the Central Coast. The tournament caterer for all grades and culminated the final for the Men’s Open on Sunday. All tournament willdisplay excellent squash skills and the high fitness levels necessary to sustain long squash sessions with a best and fairest attitude. Matthew and Karen would like to thank sponsors mostly from the local business whose support contributed greatly to the success of this event as well as the local B & B’s, Hotels and Motel and local restaurants for their hospitality and the friendly locals who made them welcome. The town will benefitted greatly by the income of about $10,000 over the weekend. Thanks to the local players and other helpers beforehand, to erect the marquee, during and after to help with the clean up. These include Kath Nagle, James Hickey, Scott Harrison for, Vicki Kitchen, and many others, Sponsorship is very welcome to keep this event going and any amount is a valued contribution to any event. Tuesdays are our squash nights so please try to be committed and I realise players are sick but when you get better please either come out to Crookwell at another time(at no extra cost) or the other squash court in Goulburn and make up your matches....
