18.01.2022 A reminder that worship is on again this Sunday (15 November) at 9am at Wesley in Crookwell. For those unable to join us in person, online is still an option at 9am: http://crookwelluniting.org/ For those seeking to attend in person at Crookwell (we can have up to 39), it is important to understand that it will be conducted differently. The traditional passing of the peace, offerings, and singing of hymns will still not be able to take place for the foreseeable future.... There will be no post-service morning tea, but we encourage you to continue to meet at a café after the service if you wish. In order for us to continue to conduct our worship, we must abide by our COVID-19 safety plan, and stick to the following guidelines: Anyone who is feeling unwell must not attend the church in person. There will be an option to join the meeting remotely. Anyone who has visited a NSW government designated COVID ‘hot spot’ in the last fourteen days must not attend the church in person. A list of these areas is available at this website: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/.../recent-case-updates.aspx All attendees must provide their contact details, in case there is a need for tracing at a future time. All attendees must adhere to the direction of stewards as it pertains to entry and exit of the church, seating, and maintaining safe physical distancing. Upon entering the church, all attendees must use hand sanitizer. Masks are also strongly encouraged. All attendees must bring their own bibles from home. If you need a bible, please contact Daniel or Matthew, and one can be provided. Hymn books will not be available. All attendees must adhere to the one person per four square metres rule, and practice social distancing, by keeping 1.5 metres part. All attendees must always practice safe hygiene.

06.01.2022 2020 Grant Applications now open (including special one-off COVID relief grant) In response to the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on community organ...izations across the shire, the Board of the Upper Lachlan Foundation has made the decision to bring forward our grant applications for 2020. As normal, organizations may apply for grants of up to $1000 toward specific events or items, including equipment, building projects, or covering costs on a particular project. To access the grant, you will be asked to explain the purpose of your organization, the nature of the project for which you are applying for the grant, and to attach quotes outlining the costs. In addition, recognizing the hardship faced by many of our community organizations at this time, the Foundation is also offering small COVID-19 relief grants of up to $250 per application, to help cover general administrative and operational costs. There is no requirement for supporting documentation for this round of special grant funding. We encourage all community based organisations to apply for this funding now. These applications will be discussed and approvals will be processed with haste. The deadline for both types of grants is 5pm, 30th September 2020. The application form for both grants is available from our website: http://www.upperlachlanfoundation.com//2020-grant-applicat
